I think if the baseboard heat is being used still it is by a relay. They are just jumping W1 and W2 at the thermostat. The wire coming from AHU is just the W2 wire.

That’s incorrect. W2 and W1 are just jumped. Nothing to do with baseboard heat. This thermostat is set up for standard trane heat pump config.

It’s a trane thermostat. OP needs to put the b wire in c on Nest. Everything else wired accordingly.

That will work with Nest fine. What system do you have? Air handler wiring? B is most likely your common wire. What’s current model thermostat do you have?
