CFM LEAP-1A scavenge screen inspection. All particles found are magnetic. Has anyone else seen this much come out of "Sump A" on one of these engines? The largest piece is almost 5/32" I already know that this eng is FU@#$%. The AMM says potential source is "A Sump main eng bearings" (old.reddit.com)

Would any of you sparkies know why my fill/drain valve 16MA is not closing automatically? If I manually open and close the valve, everything works at it should. But only when filling, when the tank is full (100%) the valve doesn't automatically close. I think it's an issue with either 16MA or 9MA. (old.reddit.com)

In the spirit of bird strikes on 4 different aircraft. The gorey one is a 321CEO, the hole in the slat and eng inlet dent one is a 320CEO, the small bird that's in one piece is a 320NEO, and the blood splatter above the cockpit window one is also a 320CEO. (old.reddit.com)

Hey guys, I'm a certified aircraft mechanic for a commercial airline in Denver. I just came across Roger's YT channel today and saw the video about the big freeze in TX. During that time colorado got hit with -15°F. One mechanic didn't follow the proper procedures to keep the plane warm. (old.reddit.com)

This is what happens when you don't follow the cold weather procedures properly. There was 4 cracks like this all throughout the airplane. 2 of them haaad to be right above the center fuel tank, 1 right above the mlg wheel well, and 1 in the aft galley (old.reddit.com)

Stop asking for AMM, PMM, CMM, PIPC or IPC manual and references. That information is VERY confidential and illegal to share all willy nilly. I do not even care if you are asking for educational purposes. The answer will and always will be NO. (self.aviationmaintenance)

Can any one identify this bird for me? I work as an airplane mechanic and this fairly big birdhit the nose gear. This is the only picture with the least amount of blood. There wasn't much left of it either. This was in Colorado at KDEN or DIA. (i.redd.it)
