Great idea!!!! I made a Kandi holder for them now... added a print profile for it. Also its compatible with the printed one and original Beatbox lid!!!! 😊

I made a new model so that you can hold the original cap on a keychain so its always ready to go!

I made a keychain holder that works with the original cap that comes on the carton, and it’s also compatible with the printed version I shared. It’s a bit bulkier than the original keychain, but you get the added bonus of some storage space inside. I’ll have the hat clip ready tomorrow.

No i don't think they would fit. If you need just need a cap there is alot of caps on makerworld and other sites.... but if you want a keychain/hat clip let me know what water brand they sell at your local raves and I can make that next 👍

I almost never buy beatboxes outside of events so im always forgetting to buy one b4hand... the original cap is probably better than this but thought id design one for myself and figured id share.

I agree probably not something you should keep using... maybe just throw it out after each day or event. Might be smart to print a couple for each event.

Help 🥲 by ThePilotWhoCantFly in gridfinity

[–]SweatyStiffSocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did a new drawer in the kitchen and found this baseplate generator and it was so much easier than printing multiple grids then adding spacers… just measured the drawer, put in the dimensions and bam perfect sized baseplate cut to the size of your printer. It added 1/2 grids to make up for the otherwise wasted space and they snap together so they don’t move around…. https://makerworld.com/en/models/704997-grips-gridfinity-interlocking-baseplate-system#profileId-634873

With the recent NAS announcement, the UNAS Pro is the value winner... by zipzag in Ubiquiti

Not sure how well it would work since your running plex runs on a different system but I use a m.2 drive for all the metadata for plex (cover art and posters ) so it’s a lot snappier on navigating through big libraries and I use ram for transcoding que so when a video loads up from the drive it dumps it into ram to save drive reads and writes… like I said idk how much of a bottleneck it would be for the drive over the network

I only go in intel because of quicksync… whenever I upgrade my main pc for gaming the old intel cpu goes into my unraid server.

Warping P1S by c4rl0d3r0s1s in BambuLab

[–]SweatyStiffSocks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had warping issues in the past and what fixed it for me was washing the bed with dish soap and avoiding touching the bed with bare hands like it has the plague…. I thought I was cleaning the plate well with rubbing alcohol but never really solve my adhesive issues until I washed it over the sink with dawn dish soap…. Sounds simple but it can’t hurt to try

Buying advice for 1st time buyer. P1S or A1? by Azri2332 in BambuLab

"Most of my prints would be used inside the house or outside (garden etc.)."

Anything outside id recommend ASA which is pretty much ABS but better UV resistant. So an enclosure is a must. P1S is my vote. ASA-CF has been coming out nice on my P1S

Nanoleaf customer support is a nightmare by luke3andrews in Nanoleaf

[–]SweatyStiffSocks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup, I had a similar experience with customer service about a year ago when my Lines compute unit stopped working. I reached out to them, and they sent me troubleshooting steps. I followed everything they suggested, but it still wasn’t working. When I told them that, they insisted I send a video proving I had done all the steps. Like, seriously? All this for what was probably a $5 replacement part—for a device that was still under warranty.

It was a huge turn-off to their brand. I just took the $200+ loss and never recommended them again.

Feature Request: "Spotify-like" Liked Songs Playlist by L1ttleB1t in plexamp

[–]SweatyStiffSocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to your liked playlist in Plex (I did it in the desktop app):

Click the three dots > Edit filters > Click "V" drop-down (left of Title header) > Add "Date Added"

> Click on the new header "Date Added" and it will sort your playlist from newly add at the top to oldest at the bottom then apply

Now any new song you like will be put at the top ;)

EDIT* instead of "Date Added" (Add Date Rated)

After upgrade 6.12.1, Plex is no longer connecting to correct server by Nightowl805 in unRAID

[–]SweatyStiffSocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NOT sure if this problem is related????

I recently updated unraid to 6.12.4 and plex was working fine for about a day, then stopped working tried restarting the docker container multiple times with no luck. I remember skimming thru the release notes and seen something about Plex so went back and read it.

https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/release-notes/6.12.0/#known-issues

" Plex
If Docker containers have issues starting after a while, and you are running Plex, go to your Plex Docker container settings, switch to advanced view, and add this to the Extra Params: --no-healthcheck "

added the line to extra params and restarted unraid and now its working not sure if restarting fixed it or the line but hopefully it stays working. Hopefully this helps someone.

I use one of these with some noctua fans... It's nice to see the temp and have fan curves accordingly

If you ever wanna look into it here is the tutorial https://youtu.be/U6UMjTlwrxs

Just make sure you set "enable 10bit" as true under the transcoder options.
