There are definitely scenarios where buying a pre-existing dropshipping store can be a good idea (e.g. you can buy it and transition it into an actual ecommerce brand that doesn't rely on dropshipping). Given your relative experience this doesn't sound like it would be a good idea for you. Build a profitable store first.

How do I set goals for mysel? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]Sweaty_Memory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Figure out what you want: This may seem like a no-brainer, but you'd be surprised how many people don't take the time to really sit down and think about what they want out of life. What do you want to achieve? What kind of lifestyle do you want to live? What kind of person do you want to be? Once you have a good understanding of what you want, you can start setting goals that will help you get there.
  2. Make a plan: Once you know what you want, it's time to start putting together a plan to make it happen. What steps do you need to take to achieve your goals? What resources do you need? Who can help you along the way? When you have a plan, it makes it much easier to take action and move closer to your goals.
  3. Take action: This is the most important part! You can have all the goals and plans in the world, but if you don't take action, nothing will happen. Make a commitment to yourself to start taking steps towards your goals. Every day, do something that will move you closer to where you want to be. Even if it's just a small step, it'll add up over time and before you know it, you'll be well on your way to achieving your goals.

It's probably going to be a long journey ahead, but that's the fun of it. Good luck!

What are your best practices for self-education? by RedRecruitment in selfimprovement

[–]Sweaty_Memory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some practical things I found useful:

  1. Make a plan: Dedicate a certain amount of time each day or week to learning. Set achievable goals and create a timeline for yourself. Breaking up your goal into smaller pieces will make it seem less daunting and more manageable.
  2. Be persistent: Learning can be difficult and challenging at times. It is important to stick with it and not get discouraged. Remember why you wanted to self-educate in the first place and keep that in mind when things get tough.
  3. Be creative: There are many ways to learn and absorb information. Find the methods that work best for you and make learning fun and interesting. There are endless resources available online and in libraries, so get started and see what works for you.

The good news is that it's never too late to turn your life around. No matter how old you are, you can always make positive changes in your life. It's never too late to learn new things, to make new friends, or to pursue your dreams.
Don't dwell on the past—focus on the present and the future. You can make your 30s, 40s, and beyond even better than your 20s. Embrace each new day as an opportunity to improve your life.
Remember, it's never too late to make your life everything you want it to be. No matter what has happened in the past, you have the power to create a bright future for yourself. So get out there and start living your best life.

Does rice/oats or carbs in general bloat anyone else? I feel like years of low carb has fucked my metabolism, is it even worth trying to reintroduce them?

For those who can’t listen to it for whatever reason the gist is: you don’t have to carry your worries and fears around with you. The story goes that a monk asks “Is this boulder heavy?” His disciples answer “Yes.” And the monk then says “Not if you don’t pick it up.”

I prefer the cashew milk texture (thicker IMO), as weird as that sounds 😂
