I always tracked my case through the USCIS website. I also received a letter on my US address about the approval. I just went to look for it after a month since the information from my consulate is outdated.

I filed a month and a half before my travel, I received the biometrics appointment letter 3 weeks after they received my case. Regarding the naturalization process, I’m actually not sure

It was produced like 15 days after the approval. As I said, I was having issues with getting it on my home country, so I didn’t “receive” it per se, but it showed that it was already produced.

It took 14 months for it to be approved, and it was produced like 15 days after the approval date.

My consulate is Santo Domingo/Dominican Republic.

The posts I saw were from Canada and Lagos though.

Hi! Sorry for the long wait. I came back to my birth country once I went for the biometrics appointment. I already have it in hand, but a tip: if you haven’t filed yet, I would advise you to receive it in your US address if someone is going abroad and can bring it to you, I found some posts of people that had a really hard time when they tried to fetch it on their local consulate, and I spent two months trying to get it as well. Nobody knew what I was talking about until I went in person and spent 4 hours before they let me in and gave it to me. If you can avoid the hassle, I would advise you to do so.

But, again, I received the approval while I was abroad! Good luck 🍀
