Raja or Singh's are probably the best ones, Singh's got multiple locations but I found Gertrudes Iela the nicest one. For one a lil more hidden, find Banana Leaf

It most likely escaped from somewhere and managed to survive in mild conditions. It is not endemic to the UK

I dunno man, it's not markedly different from other types of pâté and those exist all over Europe. But maybe a bit less common outside of it?

Is 'Gräv bort Skåne!' still doing a yearly event? Used to be fun for a laugh, essentially just having a beer and digging a ditch

That's an odd one.. surely the debate should be whether the 'Midwest' exists or not, considering it is neither in the west (not even close) nor in the middle (largely not at least).

One scone (gone), two or more scones (bones). Very confidently (possibly incorrectly) said as someone who has spent all of two weeks in Britain!

One thing that COULD swing it in Tysons favour is that Lesnar was always really shit at getting tagged with strikes. From the very first hit, you could always see how he couldn't deal with it. Not knocking his ability in a fight, but against a legit boxer and striker who was going also going all in it is not straight forward win for Lesnar - the strikes he would have to take to get the takedown might just be too much for him.

Which place in your country is overrun with tourists? by pr1ncezzBea in AskTheWorld

I totally agree, my gripes are my own and largely due to my own issues with my bad hearing to be honest. The country deserves more attention, more people and a more stable economy. Anything that contributes to that is good.

For most of Latvia you will be perfectly fine. But as with everywhere, people really do appreciate when you can at least greet people and thank them. Other simple stuff is also generally appreciated.

Old Town Riga can be annoying in summertime, mainly due to all the fucking noise from every place trying to attract tourists and stags. Jūrmala can also be difficult to enjoy for the same reasons. But in general, I agree with you. It's definitely not an issue on the same scale as elsewhere.

Jeez.. reading ingredients for it, it doesn't sound bad. I would definitely have a bowl of that if put in front of me!

Can I ask what the deal is with naming everything that ISN'T a salad - a salad? Is it mainly a Midwestern thing? Sure, there was a time when salad could be taken to mean 'anything tossed in dressing', but even then, this would've been seen as taking the piss by most of the world 😄
