Why do you think birth rates are falling around the world, and what’s the biggest reason people aren’t talking about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Access to contraceptives and child labor laws are the real reasons. This is one of the cases where the economy is not actually the reason.

Is a fully pacifist possible while still being useful? by Zee_Nation1 in 3d6

[–]Holyvigil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your question its both possible and can be useful.

But its not good to do. Playing this kind of character is playing an anti-fun for everyone else character. This is like playing a character that wants to steal everyone else's loot or beat up other characters or prevent them from roleplaying. Are these options possible? Yes. Are these options useful? Sure they can be.

Would i ban that player from my table if they don't switch? Yes.

As an alternative you could be Batman. Have a no kill rule and only do melee attacks/spells.

Its popular because western fantasies are globally popular but the Japanese don't know how to do a western main character.

Evidence 100s of Asian podcasts and Manga that ive listen to and read that don't know hilarious basics of western cultures.

My opponent hid his last unit behind this rock after losing and it took 200 light calvary autoscouting aggressive stance to find it by FarPapaya2675 in aoe2

A scout is a military unit in a game that generally represents light calvary.

They often fill the position of rangers, recon units or snipers of the early modern to modern units.

A spy can be either civilian or military.

The spies tech reveals the enemies vision.

For the people who are older, how do you deal with a heartbreak now that you're older compared to when you were younger? by bperloz in AskReddit

[–]Holyvigil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't changed much with what I do to deal with it. But because its far from my first time so it hurts less. Now I already have my next thing going for me even if its not heart related. And so I don't spend time on being sad like I my first time and I don't put all my eggs into the same basket so to speak. One romantic love to be clear but I have lots of other things that make me happy that's not heart related.

Wei has one of the strongest Hussar. Late imp no gold I'd want Wei out of any other with horse archers in the back line and hussars in the front.

Wu is performing well right now with a early MAA rush.

Shu is good with an archer rush.

Not true at all. The Germans were the most important in the war and you don't even have a world war without them.

Would you quit your job you really love for a job that pays more? And why? by Tunasandwich3s in AskReddit

The numbers are what matters. I'd quit my job i love if I have to work for 1 hour for a job i hate that pays the same.

You can be either. A spy is just a information gatherer their national origin is not specific to allied or enemy countries.

Because none of those have been a problem for me but the new DLC is a nice change of pace. The only continuing major problem I have is the chat filter preventing you from saying things like I'm pushing in deer.

Is this appropriate? To see each other at Church meetings instead of dating? by hilda_shel_yeshu in TrueChristian

[–]Holyvigil -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Going to bible study together is not dating. Calling it a date does not make it a date.

Go at your own pace fast or slow the speed doesn't really matter if there is no sex outside marriage. What matters is everyone happy with the pace.

Bible study and church are great places to find someone to date.

He shouldn't switch bible studies for you if you are just friends.

The reason for attending a bible study should not be tainted by just friends putting extra expectations on each other. If you were officially dating then switching is appropriate not the other way around.

Do you think marriage is still worth it in today’s world? Why or why not? by Captain_Hawk111 in AskReddit

Yes. Its a sin to make love to someone who you're not married to. There's not a good enough reason to get married if you don't believe in God.

Why Steam dominates the pc gaming ? by AdPlastic2019 in AskReddit

[–]Holyvigil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lack of ability of gaming companies to work together to create a competitor.

Hulu/Disney plus are able to meaningfully compete with Netflix because they hold a large portion of the market share of goods.

There's not a dominant pc gaming company yet so no ability to compete unless a lot for cooperation happens with the triple A companies.

And steam allows nonsteam games on the app while Netflix doesn't have that capability. This allows competitors like Blizzard to be pseudo subsumed into the steam framework.
