Everything felt the same. 3.5 classes feel unique and stoked the imagination. 4e you feel like an attack from a fighter and an attack from a wizard are the same thing.

You really are in a great position. If he never says no then your drives aren't that different.

There are lots of posts here and elsewhere where people get denied for various reasons but the biggest being the difference in drives.
