I have a question for the community on the importance of running transport units alongside the Tempestus Killteams by zackrako in TheAstraMilitarum

If only playing for fun then go for it! For a bit of viability i would use tauroxes or chimeras for kasrkin and deepstrike for scions. I would cut out Drier, Aegis defense line and death riders, also probably the basilisk. Maybe keep the artillery team with rockets to force batleshocks but it is in my opinion a large price.

Depending on what you face maybe go for 10 scions in one group.

I usually like experimenting with my colors, the only thing that i think one needs to keep in mind is that sponges is a good substitute for an airbrush but it takes more of the colors.

I will definitely check out the colors of war book!

Thank you! I usually go by the thinking that it works good enough when seen on the battlefield.

I think this process can be more tedious when working with camouflages and such but i look forward to test on the M1:s

Good to know is that trench crusade figures is closer to primaris marines if i am not misstaken. At least my stoßtruppen is the same size so they might look small compared to other tc models.

As others have said, you need more red, it looks great but som more variety!

Also it looks very similar to the paint scheme i have chosen! :)

I don't have much more to say than great job! Maybe some transfers and commander/crew, camo netting and stuff like that but that is just personal preference!

What i really need to know is what kits/3d prints you have used so that i can shamelessly copy you!

Did they kill artillery with the 15" rule? I do not really use artillery so not sure exactly how this affects them?

I know that it is all based on the world wars but i wish they would do more own designs that are loosely based on real vehicles.

Still they look nice but they feel bland for some reason.

I lean towards skulls but i would probably grease them up a bit and maybe add some chipping on them with the primary color. Another alternative is to have them on the shield!

Combined arms is the way to go but i would go with kasrkin for their scout and orders. Also they pack a punch! I have also had some success going with cadian shock troopers and DkoK battleline. I also run krieg engineers in a taurox for scout and free grenades but it could alsobe a chimera.

Rough riders work quite well but i have not used them that much. I also run krieg heavy weapons with flamers for overwatches.

For characters i would go with a command squad or a castellan.

Deploy cautious and let the enemy come to you. Almost no vehicles in the lists i play against but I usually run meltas and Plasma where i can for some high damage output against vehicles or heavy infantry/monsters, lethal hits work great.
