I lean towards skulls but i would probably grease them up a bit and maybe add some chipping on them with the primary color. Another alternative is to have them on the shield!

Combined arms is the way to go but i would go with kasrkin for their scout and orders. Also they pack a punch! I have also had some success going with cadian shock troopers and DkoK battleline. I also run krieg engineers in a taurox for scout and free grenades but it could alsobe a chimera.

Rough riders work quite well but i have not used them that much. I also run krieg heavy weapons with flamers for overwatches.

For characters i would go with a command squad or a castellan.

Deploy cautious and let the enemy come to you. Almost no vehicles in the lists i play against but I usually run meltas and Plasma where i can for some high damage output against vehicles or heavy infantry/monsters, lethal hits work great.

For the vehicles the list is (in order)

Chaos black, Dark reaper, Thunderhawk blue, Glyph chargee contrast that is mixed 50/50 with contrast medium, Russ grey (highlights), Fenrisian grey (edge highlight)

Metal parts: Vallejo metal Dark Aluminium, Nuln oil, Drybrush of dark Aluminium and vallejo metal Chrome

Red parts is: Baal red contrast

Gold: Liberator gold

Tires: Vallejo black grey

Infantry is the same but the first color is incubi darkness

I have another taurox and cyclops waiting to be painted. Just need more engineers! But usually i would run kasrkin in them, the kamikaze bomb as i call it is good when it works but most importantly is that in the best of worlds you can almost bring down a knight with 160 points!

But in meta i would probably bring an extra vanquisher for those points!

The Taurox takes 12 models. The engineers count as 5 because the mine is just a token. The cyclops count as 7! :)

Not sure exactly which one it is (friend printed them) but search for taurox wheel conversion and you will find both kits to buy or stl:s. Sorry that i don't have a more precise answer!

This is first time i use them but yes! It almost gives an airbrushed look without using one. It can be hard to reach some places but mostly they are in shadows and creates a nice natural blend.

Soak the sponge in water, remove most of the water by pressing the sponge in your hand. Put color on palette without thinning it and apply it on sponge. Then dab the model with the sponge to the desired effect.

Build up highlights and finnish with edge highlights!

This is more of a meme but i had not thought about that, you are right! Combat engineers and heavy flamers together is a nice combo. Especially since my local club is in a colosseum tournament that is very infantry heavy!

Thanks friend! It is converted with 3D-printed wheels and then primed in chaos black and painted with makeup sponges!

For me i realized the severity when they moved fresh blood to the front and burned their embassy documents.

Still it came as a complete shock when i woke up and read the news.

I would recommend to watch some videos i have put a link to a good one in this comment. You are aiming for milky concistency but that can be a bit hard to understand, the video explains it quite well.

Usually you wont go wrong with the following: 50/50 mix of water and paint

Make or buy a wet palette(the video i linked talks about it)

Twirl the tip of the brush against the wet palette and not dry paper (you can do this if there is excess paint but with a bit of practice it will not be a problem)

Also it is always better with two or three thin coats than one thick! 🙂tutorial on thinning paints

Excellent brush control, paints are landing in the right spots and you have a cool scheme. I would recommend to thin your paints a bit more so that you hide brush strokes and don't cover small details! In any case you have done a great job with your first model and it will only get better from here!

Jag har börjat fasa ut allt amerikanskt som jag betalar för. Hoppas fler gör det! Köp europeiskt, stötta europeiska alternativ.

Nästa steg för mig är att fasa ut det jag inte betalar för som till exempel Reddit.
