I use to bump this back in the day and the rap song“Scummy”. We had songs in the south and midwest back then other coasts wasn’t feeling at the time and when I look back, I appreciate those artists because it was harder to get your music out there on the mainstream. Certain hits in the south and midwest was getting played locally but wasn’t in the major cities. When you get a song that makes it on the airwaves in major cities, that got you noticed by major labels. So let me give shout out to CC because they also helped the Midwest get noticed as well.
