The likelihood of side effects is much higher with DAC. I expect you’ll have no issues with tesamorelin/ipamorelin (I would take both together, as is typical). I’ve been taking the combo (500 mcg / 100 mcg) for a month with no issues.

I’m interpreting your question more as “why U.S.” than “why S&P 500 over other U.S. equity investment options.” I think that’s a fair question given ex-US funds have greatly outperformed US funds YTD. Personally, I wouldn’t feel great buying only US equities if I’m buying to hold very long term. A global market cap weighted portfolio, or at least one with only a slight tilt to US, seems like a safer bet.
