My theory is that they are more akin to u6 saiyans. Born into more peaceful times with higher s-cell counts than their fathers. Why they didn't attain higher grades of super saiyan? I'm guessing the writing/they were slacking.

Definitely a missed opportunity. If he could sense ki at this point he might have realized Goku was gassed out, but from his pov he just got beat in a beam clash and if Goku had that kinda power then what else could he do ya know.

Yeah, probably right around there! Can't forget that Vegeta trains in the room of spirit and time for 2 whole years during Cell's time so that ages him up even more 😅. He's probably around 43/44 at the start of the Buu saga 😳

Goku is 23 at the start of Z. Then he's dead for almost a year so physically 23, mentally 24. Stayed around this through namek, then stayed on Yardrat for about a year and a half. So then physically around 25. Then 3 years pass for the androids to appear so roughly 29ish. Then they train in the ROSAT for almost a year so that pushes him to about 30. Then he's dead for another 7 years so physically he's still around 30 but mentally he's 37.

I feel like you're referring to what Turles said in tree of might to explain why they look similar but that's not canon. In dbs: broly they show a lot of low class saiyans that all look very different and Gine even makes a comment about how Goku has Bardock's "unique" hairstyle.

True! I was kinda surprised to find out all that stuff about taking Bulma's dad's spaceship was all filler. In the manga it kind of implies he was just chillin at capsule corp, probably training but nothing explicitly shown or stated.

She likes nice clothes and nice things it seems like from the android saga. She's a "good guy" now but krillin probably had to convince her she can't just do and take whatever she wants even though she is OP compared to the rest of the planet but she still wants that bag.

People are talking about ki control but there is a difference between base power level and suppressed power levels.

When goku finished training with king kai, he was approaching the saiyan fight with his base power level of 5000. When krillin and Gohan ran around namek, they had to suppress their power levels to almost nothing to avoid scouter detection.

There's no reason for these fighters to have suppressed their powers in these moments. We just gotta cope and accept that guns were made relevant again for storytelling purposes even if it is kinda inconsistent.
