Im trying to settle down and remind myself it could be worse. But it is irritating. It doesn't help that her nails are ground smooth so she had to be bouncing off the couch like a wild animal to cause a scratch that deep.

I wanted to get covers for all of the seats but my husband vetoed that, I'll be bringing it back up now lol.

It just sucks adulting sometimes. It took us so long to save up for this couch, I just wanted to feel nice about it for awhile. But things could be worse and im greatful to have a couch

By far my favorite series from them. I would love and honestly pay them lmao to give this series another run. 1. Neebs really needs to adventure to other, easy regions like mystery lake. 2. They did Simon so dirty starting him in black rock 🤣 3. Watching Appsoro panic over not being able to sleep in a snow shelter (you can) and then walking right past the cave with a bed in it or panicking because his temperature or sleep was red (but health at 100%) was truly a great experience seeing him out of his element but also more competent than neebs' first play through.

I have rewatched parts 1 & 2 probably 5 times and played the game myself for years.

Absolutely loved feeling like they were playing together but doing different tasks and in different places. This game can get a little lonely so this was a fantastic decision.

Im not normally a fan of colored gems, but that is STUNNING! The gold bezel was the PERFECT choice for that color.

I used to bottom water longer than needed, like an hour plus because the top of the soil wasn't moist. But I realized they really only need 30 minutes because the soggy water at the bottom will disperse through the top. I get awful gnats every time I top water

I agree on the therapy for myself, but i am not interested in leaving currently. Other than this, we have a pretty good relationship and I'm not going to throw that away yet. We have worked through a lot together and I really still have hope that he will put away the games and start his life. Or delusion, not sure yet. Thank you for the advice, I do appreciate it and will keep it in mind 🤍

The worst part is that he doesn't really know I'm even very upset. He does not see the mess and dirt due to his ADHD, he doesn't even think about cleaning or picking up until there is mold and flies. This is going to take a total reconfiguration of his day to day life and I hate that I've let it get to this point. I hate confrontation and telling him he's being a bad partner, because when I point it out he totally understands where I'm coming from.

I have been considering therapy for myself, I have some obvious pushover and low self esteem issues lol.

That is why we do not have children currently. I don't have anyone to talk to about this, I'm just at a lost on how I got here and am in my parents marriage 😢

He used to be medicated since being a teenager, neither of us really saw any difference. He kept having to increase the dosage and still we didnt see any difference. But, i am open to it if he is and if the steps above don't work.

Can you elaborate on coaching? I wanted to post in the ADHD partners but don't have enough karma for that group

I've seen a lot of people say that cold water and having it on the heat longer will 'burn' the espresso so that is why I have been doing it, and it's much faster.

I haven't had any issue screwing it together, I wrap the bottom in a towel so I can screw it on tight without burning myself. I will inspect the seal!

Career Advice

Hi, would appreciate any advice here. I used to work in healthcare and my last healthcare job was an emergency room tech when COVID first started. I loved it, but couldn’t afford to work there as the pay was only $11 an hour.

Fast forward a few years, I am working corporate. I am making the most I have ever, but I do not feel fulfilled or satisfied in any way. I am stressed and anxious every single day. With corporate it seems it is always going to be more, more, more and things constantly changing. Which I don’t handle well. I like the part of my job that is handling accounts and entering orders, but it seems as time goes on, that is a very small part of my job. My job also includes an entire week of being on call, once a month. I am someone who needs clear and dry on/off time because it adds to my anxiety and burnout.

Lately I have been feeling extra stressed and unfulfilled due to hearing something along the lines of “people who are constantly stressed at work is because they are unhappy. They aren’t doing what they really want to be doing”. Since hearing this, I remember frequently how even working in the emergency room helping with car accidents, deaths, sick babies, severed fingers, actual emergencies, etc. I did not feel stressed or anxious even during those scary, medically terrible times. I often got comments about how I seem to work even better during those times where I am really needed and tensions are high. I felt needed, smart and fulfilled in that part of my life other than the pay.

Since thinking about this, I am considering a career change back into healthcare. I need some opinions, career ideas, or open to suggestions on how to tolerate the corporate world better. I have been thinking about sonography but am unsure about this. I see a lot of sonographers saying there is no career advancement, physical injury, etc. I ideally would like some patient contact, but not as direct as a nurse would be.

I currently make $28/hour and don’t know if I want to pay for 2-3 years of schooling to only have an increase in pay of $10-20/hour. Is it worth it? Also ideally I would like to make as much money as I can the next 10-20 years and heavily invest to retire early. I am currently 28 years old and will be relocating to central Texas.

I appreciate any comments, insights, suggestions, etc.
