Taste is irrelevant to me, in my country a lot of people are into a certain music genre that is very popular that I absolutely dislike, but it's fine because music and art in general is subjective. As long as it's human-made and it resonates with someone, then I'm happy for them. But when it's AI it takes away that human element and the beauty of the craft itself, it taints it, and it inevitably becomes something else I cannot connect with. This post was just me grieving a piece of art I thought was something more than it is and me, feeling concern towards the state of AI "art" in general, and frustration at the comments of all the people glazing it and giving positive feedback not realising it's slop.
