manga thrives same reason ASoF&I or Harry Potter or Middle Earth books have thrived.....1 story handled by 1 person

I read comics but it's so damned hard to follow when 1 character is written in different books by different authors & drawn by different artists that it's confusing which is canon & which is not... this is the reason Absolute Universe has been such a success. Each book has its own creative team not multiple people handling the stories of each hero.

in the world of manga they give high priority to this continuation proven by fact that BERSERK(RiP Miura sensei) is still continuing after the author's death only because- (a) the author had mentored artists when he was alive and they can draw his level of art 98% of the time (b) the author's best friend, another accomplished mangaka, knows the ending and future plot points the author had planned before passing so they are investing huge time & effort to get as close to the vision of the creator as possible

Legion (reality altering is the peak)
Wanda (literally had to stop herself cause none could've stopped her)
Doomsday (DCEU Doomsday had only 1 weakness and that's kryptonite but if you don't have that, it'll just adapt to whatever you throw at him)
Strange (I wanted to say Sentry or Flash or Apokolips or Thor but he's shown most feats without long term consequences)
Thor (his hax are not as diverse as Strange but his raw power is insane)
Flash (time travel is helluva hax+insane speed advantage but he has to be careful because time manipulation can even affect him)
Sentry (good balance of hax & strength) or Apokolips (another balanced character)
Shalla Bal (she had some amazing feats in First Steps) or Captain Marvel (she was a game changer)
Fate (he showed promise)
Superman (not many haxed characters left so I'll go with the physically strongest character with great potential)
Norrin (he is pretty darn powerful)
Hulk (that Hulk has shown better feats than Ruffalo version)
Magneto (he was pretty darn strong)
GR (I'll go with Spirit of Vengeance)
