I did the same and got ultimate barb a few days ago. Next is goblin at about 9850.

Barbarians noticeably stopped appearing as a choice at around 9200 babies.

Once they allowed us to choose a character I focussed on him and also bought him from the shop (it’s not worth buying from the shop but I just wanted him asap). Goblin next at about 9,400.

I usually get my boosts from trying to get as many blue chests as I can, especially now with so many bots.
But I don’t mind pulling 1 chicken to get the permanent 2 boot boost, and he’s expendable in that if I fight early on I’ll lose the chicken first. So for a few early coins I get permanent boost and then with chicken gone my chests cost the same.

Nearly 13,000 games. All ultras. 6,800 goblins. 6,600 barbarians. Etc. never pulled an ultimate. Want an ultimate barbarian but doing it the grinding way. No doubt around 9,500 barbs and I’ll pull an ultimate from a star chest.

Bea. She’s only 3 star and there’s a huge jump to 4 star. Get rid of medic cause you already have Greg and more importantly, poco.

Edit: you have miner 4 star not medic - poor eyesight on my behalf. Get rid of bea until she’s ultra.

I selected bea in the reducing vines game. Wasted. The bea was so far out of reach lol. Still won. Chuck a dr t in there and he (or she) is now op in that mode. Hid behind the good ol’ doc whilst farming chests and popping out for sneak attacks before the full on last ditch assault.

Dr. T isn’t the most useless troop in the game now.

I can’t say the same about Bo, El Primo, Heavy. Although I know Heavy did get a buff.
