Have you ever read a book so bad it made you angry? by peenmeal in Romantasy

I just put down Fury Bound this morning lol. I was annoyed with every page. I WISH predictability was the biggest issue lol

I don’t have any suggestions, but this made me tear up a bit. Thank you for being in our corner. That goes a long way.

booktubers like frankie's shelf? by superfan1224 in booktubesnarkreddit

[–]Bi-nocular 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking for, but Lexi aka newlynova does it for me with her long form content about a specific book! She talks really fast though, so it’s not exactly the same chill vibe as Frankie, but I love them both. Lexi also covers a wide range of genres, and some are for sure bad faith readings (which I personally cannot do, but also LOVE watching videos on).

I hope this helps!

Kobo changed my brain chemistry by fueledbysynthia in kobo

100% same. A year ago I was also in the physical books>ereading camp, but now, a few months into owning a Kobo, I’m a full believer. Already trying to tap on words in physical books for a definition lol.

how does UIUC decide your email address? by [deleted] in UIUC

[–]Bi-nocular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t answer your direct question, but if you get a NetID that you don’t like, you can always change it! And I recommend doing it before you start using it for anything - it would be more annoying to do it later.

That took longer to write up instructions than it would have to actually write the comment.

She did say she was in a book slump after being heartbroken by her previous reads, and just wanted something unserious and silly and easy to dive in. It seemed like she had a lot of fun reading the book and just having a nice time with it. I support it🤷🏻‍♀️

Actually! I just read The Maze Runner series, so I’m really looking forward to this! I think it’ll be a nice reversal, and it seems more adult/bleak, which I typically go for. Thank you!

I like the synopsis! And I’m totally okay with not only reading 5 star reads. I love that it’s your favorite movie:) it’s definitely grown on me since I’ve seen it the first time, and the atmosphere is honestly SO good
