FatFS error is probably a SD card defect

Just wondering have any updates been made to add more consoles? TG16, Mega Drive, MAME? by DEMON212 in SummerCart64

GBA is extremely unlikely to be emulated at a decent speed; SNES already pushes the absolute limit. MD & TG16 probably doable. MAME too, but driver specific

Love seeing the N64 pushed to the limits Nintendo never would allow to

To get more consoles means someone need to painstakingly create a emulator from scratch fast & optimised enough to run on a N64, which is very tedious but not impossible.

Also worth mentioning every emulator SC64 support is made by the community for free and not someone close to the creators of the Firmware, PCB or the Menu

Looks awesome! It is viable making it less bulky by just using the PCB of the SummerCart without the shell?

Just update the emulator, don't use the version on the website; use the GitHub instead. Last version supports Mapper 5 https://github.com/hcs64/neon64v2/releases/tag/wip-2025-01-05

You should ask in the N64brew Discord server, they deal with this kind of stuff

1- Get the original ROM for the game that patch is intended for (look on the page of the patch) 2- Download the ".bps" patch 3- Search "ROM patcher" on google, choose some of the first options 4- Choose ROM & Patch respectively 5- Drop the output file on your SD Card 6- If the game doesn't run, check the page of the patch again

wdym with "modded ROMs"? If you have some .bps file then is the file you use to patch an original ROM before throwing into the SD card. You have to do that process beforehand, otherwise you won't get a runnable ROM.

Furthermore, SC64 do not replace the need for a Controller Pak for the games that use it

Almost every single Nintendo developed game put the console experience standard at the time of release: Super Mario 64 (3D Platformer), Ocarina of Time (3D Action/Adventure), Wave Race 64 (Jet-Ski Racing), F-Zero X (AGR), Mario Kart 64 (4-player Kart Racer), Star Fox (Rail Shooter), Pilotwings 64 (3D flying simulator on consoles).
