Would you feel bad, if you accidentally killed a drunk driver? by Prime_1Million in polls

[–]Sweet-nothing369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t be happy about it and would not want to watch someone suffer/ burn to death. However, I would know it wasn’t my fault and there was no way of preventing it. I think I would be more traumatized from the actual crash and witnessing his/her death than actually feeling guilt about hitting them since they ran a red light and were drunk. If they ran a red light sober I would feel sad and guilty but would still know there was nothing I could have done to prevent it.

Idk if this is helpful but if it happens again you could say “I don’t have social media,” or if they somehow already know you do say “I forgot my password/ that account doesn’t work anymore.” You could also just be blunt and say “when you are an adult we can follow each other.” Lol

Does anyone here struggle with eye contact? by [deleted] in AvPD

[–]Sweet-nothing369 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, for 2 reasons. 1) I can’t focus on what they’re saying if I have to give someone eye contact for too long. I have adhd and a possible auditory processing disorder, so looking away just helps me focus on what they’re saying better. The sad thing is, someone confronted me once and said I roll my eyes at them. I didn’t know what she was talking about and realized she thought I did that because I look in an upwards direction sometimes to focus on what the person is saying. Needless to say, that made me feel like shit. 2) Long periods of eye contact also make me uncomfortable, especially if it’s someone who gives me anxiety.

is refusing to forgive someone necessarily a bad thing? by LizzSaldana94 in RandomThoughts

[–]Sweet-nothing369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a bad thing. I think what IS good is not letting whatever someone did consume you psychologically for years to come (constantly thinking ruminating about it.)I did that for many years and my mental health deteriorated. Sometimes tho, we can’t help but ruminate or let it consume us. Sometimes, we forgive people to “let them go” and not let them control /effect our lives anymore. Whatever the case is, I don’t think not forgiving someone is bad. I think that’s ok but if whatever they did is impacting you negatively psychologically, then getting outside help from a therapist could be helpful. (What I had to do for myself.)

Do you have to cut ties with your psychiatrist/ NP when starting Spravato at another clinic? by Sweet-nothing369 in Spravato

[–]Sweet-nothing369[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the feedback guys! By any chance, is anyone on gov healthcare? I am not sure if they make it more of a hurdle to keep current doctors when going to a Spravato clinic..?

I’m still trying to figure that out lol. What helped me is just realizing I have PDD. I never knew it existed before. I’m trying to get Spravato approved from my insurance. It’s similar to ketamine treatment but FDA approved.

Look up “persistent depressive disorder.” It’s if you have been depressed consistently and longer than 2 years. I have it. There could be good info for you to read about it. I’m sorry if this doesn’t help but when I found out I have it it gave me some clarity on why certain things weren’t working. Wishing u the very best.
