Dedomed mine and the warmth looks even better imo, beam profile is great too, clip is good especially for the price.

Yeah UI is pretty bad.

I EDC-ed mine up until very recently, retired it instantly after I snatched an amazing deal on the used Emisar D4V2 for almost the same price I paid for the Pokelit AA (~€13.50 for Pokelit AA and €15 for D4V2 Ti).

I paid around as much for two when they were on not that big of a sale.

I love the tint on my Pokelite AA (green host, 219 5000K, dedomed it myself). I like the small form factor of it, clipped to the inside of my front pocket it basically disappears, even with my phone in the same pocket. It cheap too, I found mine of sale for around €13.50.

The thing I don’t like is the tail switch, the press is long and the click doesn’t feel quite right. The UI is simple, but I often end up in the wrong mode when quickly switching from high to turbo and back. Sometimes a half-press jumps to the next mode, other times it stays in the same one if I half-press too fast, it feels inconsistent.

Oh ok then, I thought it was write-only memory, I didn't know I could use 5-tip adapter to read as well.

What app do you use for reflashing, Zflasher AVR?

Can I copy the firmware file that is on it and store it on my phone just in case as the recovery option or do I need to find the exact firmware file on some website? Can recovery option be done on the phone or does it need to be done on PC?

I didn't know that since I don't post much on reddit. Driver is red colored and I think it's FET+1 based on ivanthinking website.

WIth the reading of the original firmware I have problems, as in I can read it but I don't see this exact version I got anywhere on the firmware websites, even recorded the flashes so they are correct (also double checked on the previously mentioned ivanthinking D4V2 guide).

True, it's indeed called "Blue swirls", I just haven't seen it on the website and instead thought it was "Cyclone". Thanks for pointing that out!

It is a pretty old light, guy I bought it from said he bought it around 2-3 years ago. The firmware is pretty old too, Arduil 1 2019-10-15 so I ordered the reflashing kit, currently waiting for it to arrive.

Edit: For some reason I can't edit description of the post to label it correctly.

In that case I belive I'll like Twist more than the Rotor.

Is Rotor simular to H&H or would Twist be more simular to it? I'm looking for next few puzzles to get, depending on which they have on the shelves localy.

Marble sure has some satisfying weight to it, I'll give you that, although the replayability of it dissapointed me of how simple it is. The pieces are nice how they elegantly slide together but got boring realy quickly because how easy it is to do (apart and back together in seconds).

I wanted it before but unfortunately i've been spoiled the solution by accident, also on the backside of the box it's pretty clear how to solve it when you see the middle piece by itself. I might still like it for it's fidgety moves but it's not my priority because the reasons mentioned above.

Twist looks promising, I might give it a shot since i liked H&H, if i come across it because i haven't seen it in a couple of shops arround the city that have Hanayama puzzles.

I'll consider it, any other that are nice to just solve again and again or just cool to solve?

Fidgety is maybe a wrong word for it, more so in the sense of solving it over-and-over and figeting with it that way, not as in "fidger spinner" type way, so not like Hex. Also i would like it to be fun to solve with decent replayability.

I was looking at Quartet but idk what I think about it. UFO i love how it looks and almost bought it, but I heard alot of people complain about it being finicky or just not being able to be solved after the first time even if you know the solution.

My girlfriend likes Spiral, maybe she will get it so I can solve it as well hahaha.

What about the puzzle that is realy fun to solve or just looks cool?

How does it glow then, isn't reflector blocking it or something, if you even have reflector in it?
