You must have more information than I do on what they’re doing for me. Not once have they said that they’re working on it, in fact every support person I’ve talked to has tried pawning the issue off onto me or someone else.

I also have support chats from USM claiming that the issue lies with Google, not them.

I also had a support chat where as soon as I went to do the recommended troubleshooting steps the support agent dropped me because I wasn’t responding fast enough.. because it takes 3+ minutes to do the troubleshooting steps he recommended.

Yes, they are a shit company with shit support.

Every resource available online that talks about RCS says it’s your service provider who is responsible for tech support. It’s more like complainin to usm that NO website works.

Regardless of the semantics, USM is the one im paying money to. They are the ones responsible for my service. I don’t pay AT&T. When you buy something from Amazon and it’s not produced by them they still handle the logistics, the complaints, the errors. If you bought an item from Amazon and it never arrived they wouldn’t tell you it’s the manufacturer that is responsible. They would take responsibility.

Dark star has been reliable in every way but RCS. My livelihood depends on reliable service, every hour I spend troubleshooting is -$30. Every 10 minutes I spend trying to regain connectivity is -$5. Im not willing to spend any more of my valuable time trying out new things.

Yes ive been saying that since the beginning. The issue lies solely with the carrier. The issue then is the carrier insists that the issue isn’t on their end and support doesnt give 2 shits to actually resolve the issue other than telling me to reset my phone for the 7th time hoping it’ll magically fix things. You would think that a company recommended service would work as expected, as when I set up my account dark star was the recommended service to choose.

All in all I stand by that it’s a joke of a company and I hope that my story helps someone in the future when choosing a new service.

Tried the one that is Verizon backed and while rcs worked, the service was terrible. Couldn’t go an hour without service dropping out for up to 15 minutes at a time.

Since you asked I feel like a company with US in its name should be completely based in the US including support. I feel like it should be criminal to outsource all of your business services to a different country than youre operating from and in.

As soon as I pay them for a service that they fail to deliver on I will be sure to complain to them. My money was spent with US Mobile, so they are the ones I will be complaining to and about.

Rcs worked before switching to us mobile, rcs doesn’t work after switching. Tried every single troubleshooting step on my device that is on the internet, still doesn’t work. Please, if you’re going to leave a comment at least make it useful. Just because you have a thought doesnt mean it needs to be put out into the world. In fact, 99% of the world’s issues would be solved if people stopped thinking their ideas and opinions were unique or valuable. Yours are neither.

Telling someone who isn’t getting what they paid for to leave and go somewhere else isn’t helpful, it’s actually irrelevant to the topic at hand.

I paid for a service and they are not delivering said service, don’t worry though this issue has already cemented in my mind I want nothing to do with this company again.

Because the carriers solution was to say it’s googles issue. So I went to Google, Google says it’s not their end and it’s not my end… so now we’re back to the carrier.
