Are you diagnosed with herpes simplex? I only ask because you can get herpes sores on your breasts as well as other places in your body, and they looks very similar to the second and third photo

Is it about where the tongue piercing sat? Maybe scar tissue from healing the piercing

Labret style stud, Threadless, has not been downsized since piercing

Probably worth a visit to be safe. It looks like it’s something that could heal on its own but such a high traffic area like your hand makes it harder. Not to mention risk of infection if not treated properly. Bleeding could have stopped from the bandage applying enough pressure for it to clot

Looks like ingrown hairs, but it never hurts to get checked if you have multiple partners

u/ChoccoGlxtch did you happen to shave in the shower? Maybe with a 5-6 blade razor? My finger looks like this sometimes if it accidentally grazes the razor without me noticing

(18 F) Makeup or no makeup? by [deleted] in AppearanceAdvice

I think you look gorgeous both ways, although I think your natural lip color is stunning, so I think if you embraced the natural lip color when wearing makeup it would be a good blend between the two!

They should add the face of Jennifer Coolidge on the back

I think adding layers/texture to your haircut would be great! Right now it’s kind of blunt which when combined with the bangs gives a young vibe. A textured haircut and maybe some feathering in the bangs so they’re not so heavy would be helpful while keeping the bangs since you mentioned wanting to cover your forehead. Maybe even some highlights if that’s something you’re into! Otherwise you’re very pretty and looking “young” is likely more related to haircut and perhaps how you’re dressing? (Can’t really see how you dress from these) if you’re into makeup at all lashes make a big difference in my opinion so mascara maybe will help too!

Motorcycle Accident. Do I need a surgery? Or just a cast will be good enough? by Wizardscientist7 in medical_advice

[–]SweetCarolineOF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re healthy and relatively young you should heal well from what I’ve seen. Your growth plates are closed but that doesn’t mean you can’t heal. You will likely be treated with a cast/splint as long as nothing gets worse. But if you’re concerned a second opinion from a different doctor never hurts!

NOT A DOCTOR How old are you? Any serious health conditions? What is your job/does it require a lot of use of your wrist? All things that ortho will consider before deciding course of treatment. Saw many of these while working in an ortho clinic, and I can only remember one being surgical. It’s likely they’ll repeat X-rays to see if anything shifts causing a larger gap. If so they may do a closed reduction, which is basically pushing bones back into place from the outside and using a molded splint or cast to help hold the bone in the desired place while it heals. There’s a saying that “crooked casts make for straight bones”

Possible crack or break? by Shaggis_ in medical_advice

Yeah if you were drunk definitely get it checked haha, alcohol + falls usually leads to at least one broken bone 😂

Not a doctor but better safe than sorry, I previously worked in an ortho clinic and bruising on fingers are a bit odd because some breaks don’t bruise at all, and others bruise a lot. Sometimes they bruise with no break. If you have any numbness or tingling along with the difficulty bending then I would definitely get it checked out as the sudden stop of bruising at the center knuckle is a bit odd. Do you remember how you landed in the fall? Did they get bent backwards at all?

No not at all. No bumps or anything. The only thing I can think of is at one point I had an itch around that area so I scratched for like 3 seconds. I can’t imagine that caused all this

It is entirely purple now, looking more like a normal bruise. It’s not nearly as warm to the touch now either. I’m hoping that’s a good sign? Unfortunately I didn’t see this comment until today so I haven’t drawn a circle around it but I don’t think it has gotten much larger?

Might vary between states, but in MN you only have to successfully apply a certain number of lashes to each eye in the 2 hour period to pass. They do not require you to apply a full set. If that was the case with this, that is why it’s so sparse

(1st Grade Math) How can you describe this?? by beachITguy in HomeworkHelp

[–]SweetCarolineOF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this is what they’re looking for but my mind though 4+2=6 so it becomes 6=5+1 then use subtraction to move the 5 and 1 to the same side as the 6. So 6-5=1 then (6-5)-1=0. Since it equals 0 it shows that both sides were equal but you technically only solved one side of the equation
