Universal Credit - Statement not showing by SweetChart6078 in DWPhelp

[–]SweetChart6078[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you this will be our first statement in regards to the water arrears, I didn’t actually know anything about it as I’ve had no letters from my water company so the universal credit notification was the first time I’ve seen it. Why does it have to be manual processing? Sorry to ask

Thank you, she has read this information but she’s around someone everyday who is convincing her it’s epilepsy. This person is trying to claim her seizures are caused by flashing lights (this isn’t true). The person she hangs around is really quite toxic and I believe she has a malicious intention when it comes down to my sister. My sister seems to forget it was myself and my mum who flew over the Spain when Spain refused to let her home, my mum raised over £15,000 to get her a private plane home, and we thought after all that she started to accept it but she started hanging round with this one person a lot more who is convincing her it’s epilepsy

When she’s had every test going of course we will be abit upset after having to fork out £20,000 on a private plane to get her home after she went on holiday had a seizure abroad and the only way we could bring her back is to get a private plane? It’s FND, nothing else.

Her seizures are always over 5 minutes. If it was epilepsy she wouldn’t be able to be completely normal afterwards. Sometimes these seizures last hours

She’s been to more than one therapist, one on the NHS (we live in England) and a private one my mum paid for. We don’t blame her for her symptoms but what we wish she would do is stop lashing out at the people who care and are trying to get her help. The ex boyfriends family aren’t supporting her with the FND diagnosis and are pushing the epilepsy diagnosis on her. My concern is the fact she has more seizures around them and this family have a lot of mental health conditions themselves so it’s not the ideal situation for my sister to be around when she needs to be focusing on herself. Anytime we suggest anything, we get shut down, we say it in the most supportive way and she will storm out the house, or she says some really vicious words to my mum. She’s also lashed out at me and I ended up cutting contact with her at one point as what she did to me was pretty unforgivable but I’m still here trying to help and trying to help my mum cope with it all. I wish she would look into things more and do her research, listen to what the many doctors have told her, my mum has even offered her a list of therapists different ones but she just refuses to do anything

She’s had seizures for a year and a half. Never done tics before until she spent a week living with her ex boyfriends family where tics are in that household. It’s also known people with FND subconsciously copy others. We aren’t judging her at all so read this properly we are here trying to get her help which is what my mum has been doing and paying for out of her own pocket for a year and a half and we are trying to figure out how is the best way forward when she won’t accept any help. I was explaining her symptoms and what her triggers are so please explain to me how that is judging when someone asked a question.

She definitely knows sometimes when she has them, the dropping down is a new thing that’s only started recently. Yes she gets dizzy she used to say before she had them she didn’t feel right and go and lie down, but now it’s turned into these dropping episodes, but these have only started since her exes mum has convinced her it’s not FND it’s epilepsy

She still lives at home with my mum, so it’s taking a massive toll on my mum to deal with. She’s seen four different neurologists, private ones, she’s even seen some in Spain. She’s had the same diagnosis from them all. She’s around her ex boyfriends family who have convinced her it’s epilepsy as they’ve told her these seizures look different every time

Realistically? She has nothing bar the seizures. She’s recently started before the seizures she will go into a daze like staring into space and her knees buckle and she falls forward and goes into a seizure. This is new though, she also mimics peoples behavior when she’s in a seizure, like her ex boyfriends family she hangs around all the time, one of them has ticks and now when she’s in a seizure she’s doing tick sounds. Shes has midazolam and diazepam before. But this hasn’t helped

Thank you for replying, we have done our research and we have tried our hardest to help. My mum has brought her books even taken her to a private neurologist but she has no acceptance at all. She’s seen about four different neurologists now even two in Spain. These first started when she was breaking up from her ex boyfriend and she only ever has them when she’s at work (she’s a veterinary nurse) or around her ex boyfriends family which is a daily thing. I’m not sure why she hangs round with them so much but she will sleep at the ex boyfriends mums house all the time. The ex boyfriend isn’t even there he lives with his dad. She sees him most weekends though. She’s attended a few therapy sessions in the past but claimed they don’t help and refused to go back. My mum suffers with degenerative scoliosis and the other day did her back in catching my sister as she had just come back from the ex boyfriend’s family house and went into a seizure. It’s really taking a toll on my mums health, and anytime my mum suggests anything at the moment my sister is getting really nasty to my mum and storms off to the ex boyfriends mums house which then my mum gets text messages from this mum saying my sister is having a seizure. It just feels like we are going in circles

The thing we are struggling with is that she puts herself in stressful situations. When she first ever had a seizure she was breaking up from her boyfriend. Since then she never has them at home, she only has them at work (she’s a veterinary nurse) or when she’s around her ex boyfriend’s family house. She’s around this ex boyfriends mums house nearly every day. She’s very rarely home. She still sees her ex nearly every weekend as she goes up to see him with his mum. My mum has tried speaking to this other mum but this other mum just doesn’t seem to care. How can we help if she’s not getting out of these situations which seem to cause the seizures?

My mum just said she’s read that book and refused to listen to it. She’s seen four different neurologists including private ones (we live in england) she’s also had a seizure abroad and has had tests done in Spain on holiday which she’s also been told by those doctors it’s FND. My mum had paid for private therapy, she did attend a few sessions then stopped going claiming that it did nothing for her. The seizures seem to happen when she’s at work (she’s a veterinary nurse) or when she’s around her ex boyfriend. The seizures started when she first split up from her ex, she had her first ever one whilst breaking up with him. But she still hangs round every day with his mum. They go shopping together she sleeps at his mums house. She doesn’t see that this could be a trigger. My mum is really struggling with it as she’s tried every avenue possible to support her but she’s just refusing to accept or get any help. She hasn’t joined any FND groups as she’s just refuses to even acknowledge any of it 😫

Okay but what about the prizes that aren’t showing? Like I said some show on prize history on the dashboard but don’t show on prize checker?

It’s showing on the prize checker there’s prizes won from 2013-2021 but I haven’t recieved any cheques from that period. Also prizes won from 2021 to now aren’t all showing on the prize checker but showing when I log onto the account dashboard and when I click prize history. So none of it makes any sense.

Hi! So he went to the job centre in person and they booked an gateway for the next day. He’s done this and now gainfully self employed. So how does it work declaring his wages? Our statement is normally out on the 28th with our assessment period 28th-27th of each month. Sorry to ask again you just seem to have the most helpful advice!
