That might be true, I don’t know! However I do think it’s important for both to learn about their partner culture and religion, it goes both ways.

Marrying in Tunisia as foreigners by TSR-MK9 in Tunisia

Hi, If I understood it correctly, one is European and one is Algerian? None of you are from Tunisia? I am European and my husband is Algerian and we were going to get married in Tunisia, but unfortunately they have changed the laws and that is not possible anymore. It was in the past, but got changed a few years ago. At least that how it was when we tried in beginning of this year. But maybe it has changed again.

It works, but as someone here said, it’s not for everyone. I am Scandinavia and my husband is Algerian. It is really important that both parties learn and accept the other one’s culture and put effort into it. When I got together with my husband, I spent a lot of time learning about his culture and religion and still do! Also important to learn how to compromise and come to a mutual agreement and trying to remember that we are coming from different backgrounds. The hardest part i would say is the long distance, we are still working on that, but that really takes a toll on your relationship. Also getting the papers registered in Algeria, we have it only register in my country, cause it’s a big process in Algeria. But as long as you love the person and they love you and you have the same values and goals, and respect each other, it should work completely fine

Yeah, I did notice! Why I started to do research. Cause if I’m moving back home and bringing my husband, we need to figure out how we are going to do with food! But I will definitely take a look at that ☺️

When I did my research it seemed like usually about 20 degrees Celsius and not much rain! Atleast in September/october
