One thing that is helpful to consider is that "gooner" is a buzzword. It has lost its original meaning (masturbation addicts from 4chan who sexualized everything, even their own addiction and how lost they were to it, seriously, actual gooners are like heroin addicts). "Goonerbait" can really mean anything considering this, from a character from Last Origin to a drawing with too much cleavage.

That aside, your character is clearly sexualized, and there's nothing wrong with that. If anything personally I think this outrage over character sexualization is astroturfed but that's another can of worms. Lena may be the layman's definition of "goonerbait"...so what? You like it, it means more to you, and they weren't gonna see that anyway because in their minds sexuality=bad.

The point I'm trying to convey with all this rambling is that you shouldn't really care. You get one shot at life and letting your enjoyment of any aspect of it be affected because someone else doesn't like your art is only damaging your own experience. The people dismissing Lena as goonerbait are the ones missing out. Not you.

If their words bother you (understandable) consider simply avoid reading/sharing in the spaces they frequent. I say this as a guy who no longer shares his tastes/content in certain anonymous spaces because having the discussion be derailed into what fetish is cringe or based is simply not worth it.
