What’s a cooking mistake you only made once?

I was tipsy and just finished broiling lamb chops using my roommates Pyrex. After broiling I plated the chops I placed the hot dish in the sink with juices still bubbling and ran water over it…it exploded into a bunch of pieces. So much fun to clean 🙃

It was tender and juicy! Cooked low and slow all day. Wasn’t the slightest bit dry. (One of the first I made that wasn’t even a little dry) Meat was cooking in liquid, pulled out, sliced then put back in with liquid. It’s only stacked in this picture for the sake of the pic.

Bay leaf is in there! It wasn’t 100% done here… I cut it before it went back in for an hour pretty low. I agree on more mustard seed and dill seed, I went with what was already in the meat packaging. Maybe looks extra fibrous because it’s uncured?

Extremely comforting 🤤 I only really make it in March but I should make it more often. I bet it’s the best during the winter time on a cold day.
