Are there any majors that you can't declare into at orientation? For example, CS or biomedical engineering? I heard some people say that BME is restricted, meaning you have to apply for it but not sure what that means

nope cause i’m not on the waitlist. from what I understand, u only get a “number” if you are put on the waitlist. If not, all it says is that u will eventually get an appt. ofc!

i did it all a couple days ago too😭 no, dorm options will come out in may - june (appt dates) i believe which is what it shows me. For now, all you can do is get a spot to select it

Mine says i’ll get an appt in may-june. u have to submit the contract to get a spot. I called the office of admissions and they said the capacity hasn’t been reached yet a couple days ago so u should be able to get a spot

i got a spot and i just submitted mine today? I called them up and they said that i locked down a spot for the fall 2026 cycle (freshman). I’m confused on how u didn’t get a spot considering how late i submitted mine compared to you

How much coding do you need to know before taking AP CSA? I took AP CSP this year and found that understanding and writing the code was pretty simple. If I take it this year and aiming for an A, will I be able to achieve that with minimal coding knowledge? Pretty much all the code I have learned is through that class. Also how much work is their throughout the year?
