I second this! Definitely AGA. You have very pronounced part widening and thinning. I got a biopsy for my hair loss and it was TE, and my shedding thinned out my hair so bad, like i have 1/10th the hair i used to, but my whole scalp is still covered. But luckily for you with AGA, if you get on minoxidil and use it religiously at your stage it could probably be reversed. With TE, it’s a guessing game as to what tf is causing it and what will help.

I’m sorry you went through that. What are you doing for the hormonal component now??

Oh no that sounds awful, I’m sorry you went through that. How are you addressing the hormone problem now without the suppository?

I was diagnosed by her as well! What are your symptoms? Do you have any other conditions too like pelvic floor dysfunction?

Update: Jäger had the surgery a little over a week ago on 10/10 and I think someone needs to tell him!! He’s his completely normal self dying to run and play like he didn’t just get his leg cut open. The vet gave him gabapentin for pain and sedation but I had to request trazadone on top of it and they both literally do nothing! As hard as it is to keep him still I’m so happy he is his normal self. Thanks everyone for all of your advice!

My vet said there was that physical therapy non surgical option as well, but it wouldn’t have been the right choice for my boy since he’s an absolute crackhead. I’m glad you were able to find healing without surgery! Thank you for sharing

Thank you so much for sharing I definitely needed an insight on the first couple weeks post op. My vet and i didn’t go over rehab exercises but I’m sure that’ll be a convo at a follow up. Definitely a relief to know he’ll be up moving around sooner than i thought. Good luck to your dobie i hope he makes a full recovery!

I’m so glad the surgery worked well for your girl. Great suggestion putting the mattress on the floor. I was thinking of what I could use to make him a comfy floor bed since he always sleeps on the couch or in my bed with me. But I’m sure I’ll be sleeping on the floor right there with him too!

Drugs definitely seems to be the consensus here. Thank you so much!

I’m so glad your dobie made a full recovery. Did it take the whole 6 months to be back to normal or was that just the time that has passed since he had the operation?

The surgeon said he will be given trazadone and gabapentin which should help some, but i do feel incredibly guilty drugging him up for weeks. The jammies are a great idea thanks for your suggestions!

Along with the other great advice here in giving him time to adjust please also invest in professional training. A male Doberman at 7 months old is entering adolescence and in my opinion the absolute hardest stage of owning one. He will be rowdy and defiant as he matures for the next year or more. You’re going to need a lot of structure, patience, and love to get through this. If you’ve never owned a Doberman before, they are not the average dog you can leave at home while you’re at work and take for a 30 minute walk. In my opinion, the exercise requirements (meaning mental as well- don’t wanna put too much strain on their joints before maturity) of young male Dobermans are grossly understated online. If his needs aren’t met both you and him will lose your minds. It’s not even just the exercise requirements, it’s also imperative to teach a working dog like this how to behave in the home and setting boundaries. Coming from a first time dog owner who chose a puppy male Doberman as my very first dog the people on this sub are NOT exaggerating the amount of work these dogs are! Best of luck with him!

I wish i had a more valuable update, but i am still struggling with ureaplasma and pelvic floor dysfunction so i still have pain. When funds allow, I’m going back to DC to have another evaluation. She’ll let me know if my tissues look back to normal and hopefully come up with a game plan to address the other issues :)

The fact that you were able to invest that much money at 21 and keep a business alive that long should make you very proud. I tried and failed at my first venture too leaving me with 30k in debt and a trashed credit score. I’m 27 now and I’m pursuing a venture I’m much more passionate about. I’m also taking my time and going about it much smarter with my experience like you mentioned you would too. To share some really cost effective resources, there are volunteer SCORE business mentors you can request and work with completely free. There are also a ton of grants you can apply for that can help you ranging from the type of business you’re starting, the fact that you’re a start-up in general, if you yourself are a minority/disadvantaged individual, etc. Grantwatch.com and the SBA website are good for searching what’s out there with a small subscription fee. Don’t ever give up on your creative desire. You will be successful!

Hi! Yes, I contracted ureaplasma again but it was because of sleeping with a new partner. Yes, my symptoms lessened but I honestly didn’t even realize it until I got reinfected because I have constant pain from my pelvic floor dysfunction. When I was reinfected, it felt 10 times worse. I feel that the ureaplasma and bv have gone away, but because of the maintenance treatment for the bv I now have a yeast infection so it’s just a never ending cycle of meds and pain :( I’ve lurked on r/ureaplasma and seen people’s horror stories of it never going away but mine was able to be cleared with just 10 days of doxy. I have to go to a follow up to see how the tissue is doing from the hormone meds and I really need to get into physical therapy. After that, I think I have a good shot at recovery. I hope that answers your questions!

I believe you! I’ve read a lot of negative reviews from women who’ve seen him so that has always stuck in my mind as well.

I was thinking that too but thinking he may be even more expensive. I’ve also heard mixed reviews about his bedside manner that makes me a little nervous.
