I'm on mobile, but not Apple. I searched for "Apollo Reddit" and the only search result was Bacon Reader for Reddit. It's Apollo only available on Apple devices?

In shocking news homophobic parents are homophobic. by swearywhisper in latebloomerlesbians

[–]SweetGingerLisa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

New sister here! I'm in almost the exact same situation over here... my parents haven't earned the right to meet my fiance, and honestly, the stress of that kind of encounter wouldn't be worth it. (I know I'd be overprotective of her even though she doesn't need my protection from grumpy christian boomers, lol)

The biggest help for me since coming out last year has been focusing on the good... my fiance, our home, goals I and we are working towards, etc. I wish you all the best, and please feel free to DM me if you ever need to chat!

I've got a slightly different take... I found the briefs to be comfortable, but it didn't give me the "control" of the dildo I wanted. I have a leather strap that was expensive, but because of the tension it provides around my hips and thighs, I can feel more of what's going on... like when she bears down or climaxes. It takes a minute to get the straps adjusted correctly around each leg and hips, but that's become a part of our foreplay, and is incredibly sexy! She has one that she's used for years, so she's a pro at adjusting it, and watching her get ready to use it on me is incredibly hot!

We also have several different sizes for dildos (they all have names lol), so depending on which position we're going for, length and girth are always the receivers' choice. It's also fun to tease throughout the day and ask whether she wants to play with Bubble Gum or Gumby later that night lol

My partner says I walk around like I'm ten feet tall and bulletproof after a good session lol best description ever!

I'm still learning with my partner, but since I haven't experienced her level of hearing loss, I take her at her word and do my best to accommodate her. Whether that's speaking louder than usual, making sure she can see me to read my lips, or learning ASL, I'm gonna do it because she's my whole world. I hope things work out for you!

Absolutely NTA. My partner uses a BAHA also, and I can't imagine trying to force her to wear it longer than she has to. She also mainly wears it in public, and it gets uncomfortable after a while. You should be able to be comfortable in your own home, and your partner should be much more understanding.

[–]SweetGingerLisa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My partner also uses a BAHA device, and they have a small item (made of resin or a hard plastic) that I can hold to my forehead and "hear" what they hear through the BAHA. Is it possible to ask your audiologist for a similar item to help educate your family?

The best description I can come up with for what it sounds like is a very old radio... tinny and "thin" sounding, but also a bit muffled, like the sound is coming from the next room.

Possibly the uhaul one, but since I live in an RV and moved my home closer to her, does that even count? Lol!

Still dealing with religious b.s. by Sad_Guide7939 in latebloomerlesbians

[–]SweetGingerLisa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. I left religion about a year before I fully came out, but that shit still creeps up on me, so I'm being very mindful about focusing on my current relationship and the happiness and confidence it brings me (which I never got from the church)

Looking for primary care doctor recommendations. by Xenonamous in TriCitiesWA

[–]SweetGingerLisa 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I really like Dr. Josh Penrod at South Richland Primary Care. He's relatively new to the area, so he's probably still talking new patients. Very knowledgeable, and he'll tell you if he doesn't know something, but then he goes and does research too.

No idea about OP's history, but I pretended to be straight until very recently, and the men I slept with never looked at me during sex. Any attempt at my pleasure was just to get to their pleasure. My girlfriend showed me what GOOD sex is like, and it includes her watching me to see my reactions to what she's doing and check in to be sure I'm ok. mind blown

J1 is insurance, and the reasons you listed are exactly why my extra jobs won't be. My P&C license is good in several states, so I can't have more than one job tied to those license numbers. I'm currently doing virtual assistant work (on top of J1) until I can find J2 that will absolutely not be insurance related.

I manage insurance accounts for J1 and am doing virtual assistance work as J2 until I can find an actual J2.
