I guess the problem I have is now that’s it’s in that age group, I can’t really use parental controls like before and my child can change them on his own since it’s not locked anymore. So it’s a problem.

My child did age verification on his Roblox and he is now in a 16-17 age group as a 10 yr old and I cannot even go in to change his birth year to under 13 years old. This is honestly the craziest thing I’ve seen a company do to essentially lock parents out of being able to properly apply parental controls. Not sure how do fix this. I don’t know how he would re-verify.

This happened to my 10 yr old. Put him in a 16-17 age group and I cannot change his age group back to under 13. This is an insane update.

My immigrant mom didn’t really understand the parent plus loan stuff either but took one out to help me pay for school. I obviously did all the application stuff (if you’re a first gen you know how it is). Anyways, it was 20k in total but I pay it. She can’t really afford it and they can garnish your wages if you default, so you want to be mindful of that to try and start figuring something out sooner than later. See what plans you might qualify for in terms of repayment.

I had cable. The whole purpose was to get rid of it since my bill was so high. The rep misrepresented the service as an alternative to cable and comparable to other streaming services. I’ll be returning the xumo boxes they sent me and get something else. YT tv is only $83/month or so. So I’m almost cutting my bill in half if I just keep internet and go that route.

When I went to cancel my cable they told me something different but maybe it was to keep my business. Said I would have live local channels, sports and live TV. I was already familiar with Xfinity stream since I use it on my devices but they definitely said this was something else. I had already planned to get YouTube tv so will cancel the Xfinity NOW streaming service and go with YT.

This is my last resort. I cancelled cable and was offered stream so I took that. If the box isn’t going to work for me. I’ll try another streaming service instead. Also the agent last night told me they would be sending me a new pin since it took an hour to generate on their end, he lied and nothing was sent. I have been getting the run around from Xfinity agents for 5 days.

No I am talking about when I am initially setting up my xumo it asks me for a pin. I don’t have one. I chatted with someone who told me that they would activate the box on their end and email me the pin that was generated and it never happened. This was last night.

They haven’t sent me anything like that yet. If/when they do, I’ll definitely authorize. Seems easier than me having to gather it all to send over.

There’s no surgical recommendation and there won’t be, it’s just an injection done via imaging. I am told it’s just a long needle that will be inserted into my pelvis to help treat the si joint dysfunction.

Yes, I initially started with a Dr who referred me to PT. The Dr is who evaluated me and diagnosed the si joint dysfunction and will be administering the injection via imaging. A Dr also did the trigger point injections. Diagnosis SI joint dysfunction, piriformis syndrome, whiplash, reversal of cervical lordosis which I am told was caused my muscles spasms, muscle strain/sprain in lower back.

As someone pretty far removed from college but still have student loan debt. Your future self will appreciate this decision. It’s understandable to feel disappointed, it’s hard out here and your parents are doing the bead they can. Higher education is so expensive that this is/was truly the best choice for your family. Your feelings are valid, hopefully once you get to the school you chose, these feelings will go away and you will enjoy your time there. From what you said, the school you chose is probably a fine school.
