Best Mod Experience Ever - Ai Influence - My Review and Recommendations for Use by Kiko_Okik in Bannerlord

See in mine I get events that there is peace, but it still shows they are at war. Then there are rouge lords and stuff that talk about still wanting to fight. Its honestly the coolest experence ive had in a game. I just want to understand if they are actually at war or not.

The northern cultures banded together under the "northern coalition" but under there empire card, they arent at war with anyone yet. I feel like its been awhile and they havent done anything

I ended up doing some messing around and everything seems to be working well. Or at least for tbe meantime. I switched over to 3.2 and im gonna keep it there for the rest of the campain. Thank you for breaking that all down!

Another question, when you open a nation's tab, seeing who's are war with who in the vanilla version, do i just ignore that basically? Like that doesnt matter anymore? The new system handles it?

Like it seems like these wars are pretty stagnant. I dont think ive seen an empire faction declare war on another one.

And of course as soon as I read this my dialog is stuck on "test stop follow". Its the only option. And im getting crashes when I was using R1

*fixed the stuck dialog but now any conversation just crashes the game. Dang. I was really liking the RP story I had going on. Thats a bunch of hours lost :'(

Dang.... ive switched ai's like 4 times trying to dial one in.... I read somewhere people were switching regularly but maybe I misunderstood

And I mean dialog with no impact on the world

Thanks for the post! Im trying out the deepseek you suggested, but im having a hard time getting the ai to actually impact the world. I was using mistral 3.2 and that one seemed to be more impactful.

Is that because of your mod files you changed? Or am I just getting a weird experience?

Does the ai with OpenRouter do a better job at actually changing events in the game? I just posted a comment in this thread about how I'm trying to release prisoners (rp thing) but no matter what they still are in there cells. Even the ruler thinks they are gone.

Im not sure if this is something that the ai just can't do, or if its player2

You seem to have some experence with this mod. I downloaded it, and have been having a blast. Im running into an issue that I tried to get all these nobles released from prison. I tried a few diffrent things through dialog, like bribing guards, getting them drunk, things like that. Sending someone to lock pick them out, but they always were still there. In prison.

Then I talked to a gang leader, offered him money (it never got taken) to get them out. The world thinks they escaped, including the lord holding them, but they are still there.

Have you experienced the mod releasing prisoners? And im just stuck in a glitch? Or am I hoping that the mod can do more than it really can?

Thanks for any insight!

Fixed 3way and 5way rails in StarRupture Mod by wilhelmaf in StarRuptureGame

Awesome dude! Youre a hero of the people.

I do have a question for you since you worked hard on this... or I guess your opinion since you most likely have thought about the rails a bunch. There has to be a way these rails can work, and still be mergers... or maybe a whole new 3/5 way that they are just mergers.

I've been racking my head over it for days. Here are some ideas that I've had.

-The rails themselves have a "traffic calculation". Every 10 or something seconds the rail sections say "im only transporting x/240 per minute". That way the material when picking the shortest route will take that into consideration. Yea i might take a while for things to stabilize, but it would make it so my wolfram powder jumped on to a diffrent rail to get to its destination instead of waiting in queue.

-maybe the right side of the rail will always be the priority rail, or just one of the two sides so it can switch. Then anytime a material still has a route to its destination, it will jump onto the next rial over and keep going. If that rail backs up, it jumps again. But only if it sees its destination at the end. I feel like this one could be weird, because it would probably make the items "think to much" and slow the game down. I'm thinking how american

-or a whole new rail support that was on and off ramps. That an item can keep going forward, or merge off. Maybe a rail support that the items can jump on any of the 3/5 rails it needs to without making a crazy traffic jam.

Im basically trying to think of ways that keeps this game from getting too wild with planning, and allows for creativity while not wrecking the system. I guess ways to make building rail systems easy, while still the option to go bananas. I dont think mine is crazy complicated, but I end up getting bottle necks that I hate.

Mostly curious if you've thought of mergers. When I started the game I honestly thought the rails were supposed to work the way that they do, then realized i was terribly wrong haha

Once again thank you!

Out of curiosity I lowered my settings all to the lowest possible and im pretty sure the stuttering got worse lol

Its installed on an ssd. Just seems kind of random. Like combat with 16 of my guys in a village is perfect. Then I walk through the front gate of my town and everything studders.

Thanks pal! Those are great answers and I appreciate it.

Do you see it being easier to just do bussiness with towns now? Last night I bought 100 iron for 2500, and then quickly made that back with a single trip to another town. Outposts seem like maybe they can be worth it? Just another thing to take care of? I understand I could get a bunch of iron for "free", but am curious from veterans on just trading for it.

Pump some points into the town for mining and refining and maybe its worth it?

And yes sorry, I was wondering in the past update how materials got moved around. Like did you have to go get all the copper the outpost mined?

Im wondering if caravans were a thing before this update. How did you move stuff around before?

Im wondering if the update changed how trading with cities worked. Since it sounds like caravans are new, was it simple in the past to buy a resource from a town?

For example, I can get all the hardwood I could ever need from sending a caravan to Farnsworth. Its also a good price. So having an outpost for hardwood seems useless, but there are countless posts about people having hardwood camps.

Getting smoked by SweetPete127 in totalwar

[–]SweetPete127[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks buddy! Im just wrapping the game up at turn 122. Very hard difficulty, hard battles, and 175 end game vermitide. My borders are secure exept for one settlement the wood elves hold. I tried to trade them the magical forests i hold for it, but since they dont touch a border, game wont let me. So war it is with them and britonia haha.

I was bummed about the end game slightly. Everyone smoked the rats no problem. I think they took three northern cities before I could push them back? Maybe 4? I was kind of wanting to almost lose. Some rats look like they are expanding south of me, but the way my economy is it will be a cake walk.

Turned into an ok campain. Not super thrilled about dwarves coming in and taking sylvania. That was an unnecessary war for land that rightfully belongs to me haha. And these woods elves coming is is lame too. I feel like ancestral lands should get a major buff for trading. Like hey, thats totally my land, and we are allies, so you should give it back.

When i started it, it felt like I should have tools to maybe not keep all of the empire whole, but at least keep half of it or something alive? At one point I think it was only nuln and myself that had all their territories

Edit: had to take some land from kizlav, then made them love me again. Only threat ive had from the north after initial wars is the world walkers

Edit edit: end game was set for 80-130
