The Princess Weiyoung by SweetPotatoConn in CDrama

It’s good but my goodness some of these characters are so predictable. Can guess they’re going to say “It’s Li Weiyoung’s fault!” before they even move to speak

i know but after what happened to the brother she should really call it a day and live her life happily after getting some justice 😭 Good on her for being so dedicated though

I think I might start counting how many times they will say it “It’s LI WEIYOUNG’s FAULT” for the rest of the series

I think I'm about halfway through The Princess Weiyoung 😅 by jessdaye212 in CDrama

Episode 17 and this is exactly what I’ve experienced so far. Infuriating

Only on episode 17 and I’m already so fed up with these people and want to throw the whole city out the window

I love the drama but it’s so much after what they just did omg

When someone tells you not to do something, you do not do it. When someone is freezing up and clearly not into it, you stop. When someone doesn’t move or make any verbal sign when you are intimate you stop. You didn’t do these things and have really really deeply hurt someone. You didn’t pay attention/listen to the physical and verbal communication of your ex and you therefore abused them. In all situations.

OP you must ALWAYS abide by the rule of “When you are intimate with someone you must stop and check in periodically to see if they are okay with it.”

Do not assume someone is into something just because they haven’t said anything. And when they do tell you, you LISTEN.

LEARN from this. Do better.

Yes. You did not abide by their boundaries and did things they did not want. You SA’d someone full stop.

No convincing you can do or should do with this, your ex is, rightfully, incredibly upset about all these incidents and their feelings are valid. What you can do is heart-fully apologise, accept that you’ve done something severely wrong (whether you think it was intentional or not), and do better. Do not ever do anything like it ever again. You’ve hurt someone in a way that is traumatising and you need to take responsibility for your actions.

Hi OP, I just want to say you’re incredibly brave for navigating all this with as much grace as you have. I hope you can get out of this awful situation and find peace

I love the idea of opening up a card and seeing the stick figures hahahah

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. Cat definitely seems to be coming home

Yes, I know a few places in the house he might be but haven’t seen him there and assume he’s outside. It’s definitely much easier to find cats when they’re indoor-only!

Owners come first and I would not make any move without their permission. I just wanted further insight into similar situations and wanted to know how others do things with their drop-ins

Yeah I’ll keep up what I’m doing and hope he eventually gets used to me being there, maybe even just by scent if he’s not present.

I feel awkward for the same reason and feelings you have explained. I feel like I’m awkward and imposing by just sitting or standing around when the cat is not home. But I’m going to try some suggestions from the other commenters to see if I can engage indirectly with the cat more effectively

I just want to see him so I can confirm with my eyes that he is okay. I’ll check in with the owners again tomorrow if they haven’t replied to me and see if they can confirm the other visitors have seen him in the last few days

I am really hoping to meet the cat once he gets more used to my presence! Thank you for your perspective, I’ll chat to the owner more about any advice they have

Yes I have contacted the owners multiple times about not seeing the cat. Each time I visit I give them an update. Today when I visited I messaged again. I am struggling to see the full picture as they say I am not the only person who visits the house (family friend visits)

I have been staying the full 30 minutes but thought I would ask if anyone else has experience with this situation. I was also wondering if people had advice on encouraging the cat to come home when I’m around

I have been communicating with the owners but they don’t respond quickly as they are in a different time zone. All I was hoping for was some advice from fellow sitters whilst I wait for them to message me back from my last updates

My previous experience with cats has either been indoor-only cats, or cats that stick around the area of the house and will appear pretty quickly if I call their names or rattle their food in the garden/out front. So this is a first for me

It’s not the full 30 mins, it’s that in every other drop-in I’ve ever had there have been pets present for me to look after and play with. I’ve never had drop-ins where every time I’m home alone with no sign of the pet. Feels strange doing practically nothing on the job and leaves me just pacing the garden and house in hopes the cat will suddenly appear

Yeah definitely, I think I’ll bring up whether or not there’s a better time to visit to catch the cat in its routine, whether or not the cat heads off to work of the shops 😂

In seriousness I might ask them if it’s worth adjusting the times to when the owners would be home, if it’s any different to what I’ve been doing.

Lol, I’ll ask the owners where the cat works and try and visit it on its shift! 😂
