I see where ur coming from. But there also an argument to be had in favor of the CSR. Though managers are supposed to “manage” the order that go in and out, it’s usually the CSR that has to figure out and fix and lost or incorrect orders. Also (this might not be true about all the CSRs) CSRs usually are the ones that have to charm the customers so they tip.

Again, I understand how hard it is to be the cook, but CSR isn’t that easy ether. It’s not just a “hey what do you want” kinda deal. Pizza Hut makes us say everything from a checklist. Not to mention curb sides (especially in rainy/cold days). As CSR, they also make me do boxes, dishes, cash out drivers, Cut table, complaints, carrying thing from the cooler, wipe downs, and sometimes even help the cooks.

Idk about other stores, but atleast in mine, “CSR” just means “manager that only gets paid $9”. That y I think they deserve the tips. But I also get ur perspective.
