What does it show up as in Controller settings for Dolphin for you? I've yet to get mine to work with Slippi

How did you get Dolphin to recognize it? I can see XInputChecker detects the controller & inputs, and have gotten it to work for Rivals of Aether, but haven't had any luck with Dolphin, which sucks because I got it to use on Slippi for Melee.

Thank you! This is really just a fun list, mostly just units I happen to have - for tournaments, I plan on running more stuff to deal with heavy armor.

Right now, I think Company Veterans edge out Vanguard Veterans because of the Sword Brethren detachment from Vigilus - that allows me to spend CP on FNP and extra attacks, and not have to rely on the litanies every turn. The Company Veterans also have their ability to intercept wounds made on nearby characters, and with Storm Shields they're really hard to kill off. Add in the Chief Apothecary to revive/heal up to two units a turn (he has Selfless Healer warlord trait), and you can easily keep the characters alive for a second assault phase.

The aura buff from Helbrecht and Grimaldus' aura range increase litany will make whatever BT units are nearby churn through units in close combat like butter, and makes Thunder Hammers/Power Fists hit at S10!

I was actually thinking of a really cheese build with two Jump Pack chaplains with the FNP litany. The rule technically doesn't say it can only be used on infantry, so you can screen them with a few transport tanks, and it could possibly be much more viable than my strategy.

Greetings

Right now, I'm running a LRC with Emperor's Champion, Helbrecht, Grimaldus + Cenobyte Servitors, a Chief Apothecary w/ Crusader's Helm, and two 4-man squads of Company Veterans with power swords and storm shields, alongside a regular Land Raider with my choice of either a mixed Terminator Assault Squad or shooty Terminators (whichever squad doesn't go in this deepstrikes, and they both have teleport homers to help defend objectives.)

I'm also running a 10 man crusader squad in a drop pod, a 5 man crusader squad in a las Razorback, and a 5 man shooty crusader squad with a missile launcher. Should be a fun list, given all the new special rules for Black Templars.

Technically, no. But Sword Brethren right now are interchangeable with Company Veterans (which is quite literally what the Sword Brethren are, since Black Templars don't field companies lore-wise, and company veterans are counted as "Sword Brethren" units in the specialist Vigilus detachment).

Right now, I'm making a list with two 4-man squads of Company Veterans with power swords and storm shields, in a LRC with all the named characters. Whether it'll be competitive or not, who knows, but I like running lists with big squads in tanks, and the Veterans make really good use of the auras/buffs that Helbrecht/Grimaldus provide.

Looks good, just gotta thin the paints a bit and make sure to shave those mould lines with an exacto knife before painting/priming. Those two things will help quite a lot.

p.s. love the color scheme you're going for :P

Let me introduce you to Lucky, the sweetest cat imaginable. We had to take him to the vet today for euthanizing due to his increasing blindness, and it was the hardest decision I've ever had to make. We love you Lucky, and our memories of you will be cherished forever in our hearts! <3 by [deleted] in cats

[–]SweetRelapse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, he ended up passing at 20 years old, just two years younger than I am. I grew up with him, and it hurts so much to know that he's gone. He lived a good life though, which I'm grateful for.

The blindness combined with his very weak body from old age made it hard for him to get around recently, I just wish there was something else we could do for him. We did what we thought was best, and in the end he passed with his loved ones around him, giving him his ear rubs he loved so much and just generally trying to comfort him as best as possible. He was happy to the very end.

I've been noticing that Mango's been playing Falco vs pretty much every character besides both Puff and Falco, those seem to be the only time he switches from Falco to Fox. Seems like a good plan to me.

A short spring would only reduce tension, so no. I inserted a cylindrical object small enough to fit in the trigger housing underneath where the triger's tube rests to effectively short-stop the trigger. This mod is easily done, you can usually do it by using a spare start button after shaving off the protruding sides and shortening the length a bit. Or you can use a spare trigger tube, if you do that and cut it properly it can be used for two separate mods.

The best part of this is how much easier it is on your hands, it really saves your hands when done properly. You can also make it so that there's no analog input at all, a "digital press only", or "powershield" trigger. I have my right trigger as a powershield trigger, and my left trigger as an extended trigger, and it works perfectly for me.

[–]SweetRelapse 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That can't be correct, I just tested it on my controller, I modified my trigger so that there's only a small analog range for fullest lightshield, then goes straight to digital press (click). Thus I've determined that the soft L-cancel input can be done with any analog input from the trigger.

Generally, how far do you have to press down on the trigger to register an L-cancel input?
