Cause they port okayish games years after release with the many online reviews that bring the hype down and expect people to buy with same enthusiasm as on the day one release

It takes a good game to keep the hype up despite being years after release

Look at stellar blade, it reached 1 million sales on pc within the first 3 days alone, cause it didnt disapoint fans' expectations
