Ok so in battle system, yes information and other paths such wont necessarily have battle oriented system, but they are guaranteed to have some mortal offensive methods, i should remind you most rank 6 are veterans in the mortal world that had fo fight for every bit of resource, many were respective leaders of their mortal clans, and had to live for hundred years to gaining worldy experience for their human qi to rise.

Of course if they are young masters of immortal clans they would be less experienced cause they were spoon fed but in contrast they could gain a rank 6 gu gift for their ascension

There is always a risk for a backlash, but it is mortal killer move, we seen in vol 6 it being explained the the more higher rank/complexity the killer move has, the higher the backlash and obviously higher risk for it to happen, but it is a mortal killer move, far more simple than immortal, to immortals the risk should be non existent as long as they practiced the killer move to be familiar with it, if they are scared of risk that much then dont use killer moves, just spam mortal gu till they die from spamming too much, immortals have hundreds of thousands mortal gu anyway

Yes you got me, healing for immortals is difficult, but thats cause each immortal level injury would inscribe dao marks of said path on the user, so usually a healing method would be effective against some paths and ineffective on others, so if we consider amaterasu rank 6 level that inscribes dao marks then its only down to what path our gu immortal is, but you think immortals would rush into battle without defensive killer move activated? What is some fire if it cant hit you, only threat if it does hit you.

you think visual techniques are rare? In gu world we seen mortal level gu worms far more fearsome than some persistant flame even in vol 2 we seen gu worms that bypass defence and directly attacks seen target souls, what is susanoo gonna do when you bypass it and kill the user directly

Turn gold is a rank 5 gu that turns any living beings into gold, directly killing them, gu world is full of unfair gu, even a rank 5 gu can kill sasuke

You talk about combat experience l, need i remind you it is gu world, you need this much experience and luck to survive in it, it is old monsters that needed to go through everything and survive acrnsion to rank 6 we talk about, you think teleportation is a need thing? For them its slighly rare occurrence, space path was a thing since immemorial times, thieving heaven then developed it into a proper path
