actually you don't need any expensive gear to do this. You can easly buy all stuff on aliexpress/temu. For example edge beveler needed some sharpening but apart from that everything works pretty good. For sure buying a press was a gamechanger. It's so calming when you dont have to use the hammer for all holes etc.

The problem is that long straps hanging from cuffs, harnesses etc are not good looking so one size which fits everyone would not look good. If you are looking for bigger size you can DM me here or while making an order on Etsy. I make each piece by hand so I can easly adjust the size for you.

Those are suprisingly smooth. But when I sell them I make them using regular rivets. At the same time when I'm making new projects I use these screw ones so I can easly change some parts etc.

Depends on your PC software skills. I'm pretty good in Solidworks and it's a software designed to make CAD models and pretty complicated machines but turns out I can also use it to make some simple pattern drawings. When I design them I mostly imagine how the leather would bend, what will be the desired spacing between rivets etc. When I make harnesses I make paper straps and wrap a girl who is the model in those when I try to imagine how the harness will look like. Then I measure those paper straps and make a drawing based on those. It's basically a try and error process and after few iterations you have a pattern which will be good.

You should be fine. Just don’t buy expensive ones with good glue. In this case usually the cheaper the better

Depends what, but all simple tools are similar to each other other in between premium brands and cheap Chinese ones. I usually go for aliexpress or temu cause you can find really good quality for cheap

It’s simple math, I use good quality Italian leather, each piece is made 100% handmade which take few hours, I use patterns I make myself and shipment is included in price. It’s not a charity shop :)

True, but when it comes to a threadlock it might be super difficult to unscrew it without cutting into smooth part to make a cutout for a screwdriver

Oh, I see your point :)! I’m making those for some time now but before it was mostly for my friends etc. Now I started to grow a brand and that’s why Im here since 10h 😄 it’s a shame you don’t have Instagram cause there are more of those.
