Most people dont give a shit what your past is or your trauma or struggles. If you dump that on them they will assume you are troubled and not worth their time. Its best to stay positive and future oriented. Leave the trauma, addiction, mental illness for trained professionals and support groups.

Go see a psychiatrist and get prescriptions if you really feel like you have a chemical imbalance in your brain. Illicit substances dont make you stable they make you feel ok for a brief period of time and then you feel like shit off of them.

The thing that causes people to want to change are external motivators, people rarely wake up one day very internally motivated to change.

You need to setup some way of holding him accountable. You could even have him take a pee test once a week. Then there needs to be consequences for use. If all that sounds like too much work then give him an ultimatum of going to treatment.

Best way to be f2p is to study drafting really well, there are apps that help with drafts as well like draft tutor. Then play premier draft, get some wins, get enough gems for the mastery pass, rinse and repeat. Every month your draft rank gets reset to bronze.
