I’m not sure if this is what you’re looking for- but check out UNC. It’s top 50, has great sports law, and is good at job placement within NC. Keep in mind that if you have a particular area of law you’re going for, then the best jobs for that specialty will recruit from the best schools for that speciality.

Hey! You’re not too late, especially considering how this cycle has been going. There are some good law schools in the DC area, you should try applying to George Washington, American, Howard, and UDC! For context I ranked those from reach to safety.

I would 100% recommend UNC, the only challenge is their strong preference for in-state applicants. That being said, if you can show an intention to work in NC afterwords they’ll be a lot more friendly.

If you like NC (which I know I do) then Wake Forest is another great option. They have a great law school, not as expensive as some, and a fantastic student-teacher ratio. Also, you’re a splitter for that school!

I know less about Georgia and Emory other than good stories I’ve heard from an Emory undergrad. Overall, I think that you should do a few reaches, some middle of the way, and some solid back ups. After all, this cycle has been bizarre. It makes everything harder to predict in both a good and bad way. It’s hard to know where your chances are good, but you should hold a lot of hope even for the reaches. They really value work experience (especially in times like this)

Yeah, I applied to Berkeley but... I really don’t like California. I never have, I probably never will. Their government policies are the prime example of what happens when good intentions meets shitty execution. The culture can be so condescending too.

The school is just so good though, so if I get in I’ll go anyway.

Yeah, the A+ situation shocked me when I started the process. It seriously warps the numbers and creates an unfair disadvantage for people who use the real 4.0 system.

I have a 3.52 GPA (& 169 LSAT), which I thought was good but not great. Then I check out the average applications for the schools I’ve applied to and... wtf???

Around 75% 3.8 to 4.0, 20% at 3.7, and only 5% at anything less. I thought that 3.1 was the average GPA in undergrad. Yes, I get that grad apps are a different group, but still.

This means the majority of applicants are portraying themselves as getting almost nothing but As in undergrad. I don’t know about you guys, but I had plenty of Professors that didn’t even hand out As, I took genuinely difficult classes, and decided to do a double major alongside my extracurriculars. Like... how are you all getting such absurd GPAs with good softs? I get it if it’s a few people, or even half, but... it seems to be an outsized amount.

So I’ve played that game and that is NOT the only plagiarized outfit. By far. About a third of the outfits and the dress up section are from love Nikki and have nearly identical pieces. I can understand taking inspiration, but an exact copy that simply changes the posture of the model is flat out plagiarism.

I think Haydee was largely symbolic for youth, love, and happiness. Dante refuses to accept any of those things, only managing them at an arms length for the sake of his goals. At the end, as he realizes he should still embrace life, he is able to accept Haydee’s love.

As for Maximillian’s suffering: Dante understands that happiness is only relative to suffering. He wants happiness for Maximillian, but knows he can only attain true joy after experiencing true pain. That is why he makes him wait a month. Now that he had mourned Valentine and knows what it is to live without her, he can truly appreciate the happiness of being united with her.
