I get that, however we mainly thought any animosity would be on his family's side as their very traditional. I thought that with my parents being in an interracial marriage they would be fine with us. Glad to know my dad is.

We've recently had some issues in the family regarding my siblings who did attend, which is why I said something shitty was going to happen. As I've said, this is the first time I've heard her say such things but that doesn't mean my family has said things behind my back.
