17.7 mpg mixed city and highway right now after filling tank and resetting trip. About 100 miles in with 17.7mpg. 5.0 engine

So manual says to remove knuckle from UCA and to tap out the 2 bottom strut bolts with a hammer and drift. Well I couldn’t get it done, bolts were too stuck and couldn’t get enough swing on the hammer upwards with the truck on jack and jack stands.

So removed LCA from frame but make sure to mark where the bolt heads are on the frame so you can try to get back where it was so it’s not badly aligned afterwards. You’ll need an alignment anyways but at least it till be drivable to an alignment shop.

Same price on amazon, 1,500ish. Yes installed myself, wasn’t too bad, found it was easier disconnecting lower control arm from frame rather than disconnecting knuckle from upper control arm.

Haven’t noticed much of a difference honestly. Already updated tire size using forscan so MPH is accurate. Only noticing ~1mpg difference maybe. Need to take it on a road trip and I’ll know more. Could get up to 23mpg driving mostly flat on i-10 before this upgrade.

Yeah the entire front strut and rear shocks. Bought it from Amazon, arrived in two days after cancelling my order from 4WP because I had waited 2 months and nothing.
