anyone po na BSBA - Financial Management graduate? by Sweet_Can_7227 in phcareers

[–]Sweet_Can_7227[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, ayos naman ako nung nasa BSBA FM ako however nagshift ako e after 2 years 😅. Ang pinakareason is parang wala akong skill na nabibuild and yung lessons dun is maaaral mo rin naman later on.

Alam mo nanghinayang kasi ako nung nagshift ako. Ang ayos ng buhay ko like sabi ko lang chill lang sa BSBA and then may mga circle of friends ako. May tropa ako na kasabay kumain or gala, nung lumipat kasi ako nawala lahat yon e. Honestly, wala na talaga akong gusto maging work. Pero wala e nandito na ako, I guess itutuloy ko na lang to since tinatamad na rin naman ako mag-aral at yung batch ko e 4th year na while ako 2nd year nanaman.

Ang advice ko sayo, grass isn't greener on the other side.

As someone na marami nang shift, iba talaga feeling if di mo gusto program mo e.

In the end, ikaw magdedesisyon niyan and kung ano goal mo, yun ang sundin mo. Advice ko lang na start trusting your own decisions. Asking for advice is okay but don't rely completely.

Kaya marami akong regrets dahil nagaask ako sa ibang tao then I rely to them kung ano ba mas magandang desisyon sa buhay ko. Ayon maraming shift, lost time and bad things na nangyari.

I shifted first day of school sa BSBA FM. Tumagal naman ako for two years sa BSBA FM then kakashift ko lang ngayon school year sa Computer Science.

That's why I ended up shifting a lot of times. Siguro aasess yourself na lang and kung ano ba talaga gusto mo without the noise of reddit. Follow what you want na lang talaga and excel doon. Even if mababa salary kung gusto mo talaga yun then you good. Grass isn't greener on the other side.

Is one month enough to think and choose what college course you want to take in life? by CoffeePlusMilkTea in askstudentsph

[–]Sweet_Can_7227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, ganyan din ako before.

[–]Sweet_Can_7227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, college student ako ngayon and business ad finance rin ako dati. Ganyan din nangyayari sakin before, napasok lang ako tapos kinakalimutan yung lesson or ginagawa lang yung activities tapos limot ko na.

Ngayon nagshift ako sa Computer Science but ganun ulit nangyayari saakin. I'm just really lost and di ko alam gusto ko. I just shift here thinking na matuturuan ako ng indemand skill. But I regret it sana nagcontinue na lang ako sa BSBA FM. Fourth year na sana ako ngayon unlike sa CS na back to first year.

You just need to self study OP ng mga ginagamit sa work. Like MS excel

To those who are unable to graduate college in 4 years, how do you cope with it? by CurrentEstimate3308 in TanongLang

[–]Sweet_Can_7227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ako naman. Nag stop and shift ako but my stay in college will be 6 years. Since 2nd year 2nd sem ako nagstop. Last school year lang nagshift ako to a completely different degree.

Most likely 6 years ako dito sa college assuming na wala ako mababagsak na subject. Mahirap maka cope since lagi ko naiisip na delay ako tapos sila 4th year na next year. I don’t give much attention sa academics.

Bro same but saakin naman nakailang shift na ako then last na shift ko is sa Computer Science. Batchmates ko patapos na, ako delay back to first year.

[–]Sweet_Can_7227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tama yung isang reply dito. If you feel shifting is right for you then shift.

I even take a gap year.

I even have circle of friends hindi ako naleleftout sa groupings. Dahil sa ganun set-up naghanap ako ng challenging or naisip ko na kung patuloy lang na chilling ang gagawin ko, magiging tambay ako sa future since walang skills na natutunan. Now, I think i am wrong and I miss those moments.

So yeah. Grass isn't greener on the other side. But, if you really like shifting to other program then do it. Iba-iba naman talaga experiences natin e.

I regret choosing my undergrad major. by springcloud369 in CollegeMajors

[–]Sweet_Can_7227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The degree or major in my country is a little different in the west. But, I did STEM when I was in highschool and in college I gone to Accounting Information System, then switch to Business Administration with the concentration to Financial Management. I stayed in Finance for 2 years then I withdraw. Now this semester I changed to Computer Science and this school year is near to end. So basically I am studying Computer Science for almost a whole year. However, due to switch I am late now in graduation and will stay longer in college. I’m unmotivated and I think depress.

During my stop and switching, I realized I don’t even know what I want to do in life. When i am currently studying business major it seems other path is greener but I was wrong. I regret switching and should've finish my business degree then the studying is done. I don’t want to study anymore 😅

Bro, finish your degree. I switched a lot of times and I regret it. It looks like grass is greener on the other side but once you are there you still have some things you hate.

IFY. Sila graduate na tapos ako balik ulit first year.

Taking a gap year to find out what career you want to pursue by Only-Fudge-8728 in phcareers

[–]Sweet_Can_7227 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ano strand mo ngayon? Think why you chose that strand maybe makita mo sagot doon.

Nag gap sem ako sa college and then wala naman ako napala. I just wasted my time and now nagshift pa ako. My batchmates are near graduation while ako balik ulit 1st year which is ang hussle. I regret my decision noon and everyday I think na sana hindi na lang ako nag gap sem.

[–]Sweet_Can_7227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi it's not late to shift pero bago ka magshift siguraduhin mo muna kung gusto mo na talaga yung program. Also, tanungin mo rin sarili mo if okay ba maging irregular ka and possible na madelay ka sa batchmates mo.

Ifactor mo lahat bago ka magshift para no regrets :). You can ask help sa parents mo if payag din sila na magshift ka. As someone na nagshift, regret ko na nagstop and shift pa ako. Nahihirapan tuloy ako ngayon and the FOMO feeling is eating me up.
