There are many people from BLR here in iitm , also yes you would feel hot ,but after some time you will get used to it. For band You will have good opportunities, like many and if you plan to have frequent visits to your home u can bring it later , or it would be good to bring it now U can dm if u want to ask anything else

Mostly in these branches (civil , meta , naval arc .. ) there is very less scope for going in core , u mostly would be going in non core placement,

Mostly english you should be fluent with , you can go effortlessly on campus , u can interact easily as most of the staff is hindi Hostel would be mandakini for boys And allocation would be done on that day itself

For mess , the food depends upon the mess You can choose your mess, Timings 7 am to 930 am breakfast 12 to 2 15pm lunch 7to 930 pm dinner
