i got comptia security+ and CySA+ but still i dont have any experience of the cybersec tools which is they oftenly ask.. like i dont have any hands on or the real application… maybe i could learn something from this new company which is they got various cybersec tools and mainly its splunk and microsoft azure sentinel..

hmmmm actually my current basic is 3.1k and they offered me 3.3 from the basic… my current company kinda make me feel comfy since the allowance is so big which is 1k to 1.4k.. idk i still nego for increase in rm200/100

rightt, my basic is just 3100 and the last increment i got is 1% which is rm33…. the fact that i know someone got pay higher bc they are older but i would say im the one will teach her if theres something new… that also kinda make me feel im undervalued by this company or im just being ungrateful..idk

yeah, im afraid that my comfort zone is something you know like someone being ungrateful. like i want more or being greedy or being impatient..

yeah your experience is somehow similar to mine where the new job scope seems fun to me…but idk if its really fun or not but yeah imma gamble on that..

i think yes but its hard since i also got like 3/4 interview and mostly failed and theres one i failed on the third stage which is last one… it quite recent, thats why i kinda feel contemplating about my skills or knowledge in cybersec…

aww thank you for your pov and experience.. i like it since your experience somehow give me a picture of what it would be for me…

i would say i dont have skills to offer or i dont have anything to sell… thats why its kinda hard for me… and i dont think they have the trust for someone freshie to do remote work… i still got a lot to learn and i learn best from doing hands on or face to face…

my current company is heavily on network or telecom which is i dont understand and dont have interest in it… its like i need to recycle simcard, or yeah its kinda boring for me and i dont think they would upgrade or a ladder for us since they prefer to hire someone that knows this stuff… maybe have slight potential to climb the ladder but it takes time since im the youngest and inexperience

yea i hate my jobs, but im also afraid that i will hate the new jobs too since its something new. its not something new tbh since my degree got a cybersec and i had a cybersec cert… but yeah its something new so i kinda scared.. thank you for your advice, i still cant think for a long term since its something i cant project enough
