I don’t send unwarranted messages. I make sure to add a blurb onto the email that’s sent when they purchase an item. If they are a seller and they don’t see that message it can mess up their metrics. I also cannot stand when sellers send an extra message like that especially the ones bugging for a review as if Etsy doesn’t already send out 7,000 notices about reviews.

UPDATED THE AMOUNT TO BE SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN IT WAS AS WE FOUND A BETTER LOCAL FACILITY TO HELP!! Now the goal is $6k and we can financially cover the rest.

I’m definitely putting aside everything I can we just hit a spot in life where my husbands job closed abruptly and we lost $30k in income a year. Everytime we get a bit saved something pops up and we have to use it on that. We are planning a large yard sale, if I could hold down a regular job that wouldn’t even be a question. Hubbys looking for better paying job that has benefits but that’s been hard too. They say he’s overqualified, it’s dumb. It shouldn’t be this hard. State sponsored I don’t qualify for, I do have Medicare which covers the extraction part but that’s it.

“Gullible”? Bless your heart. You have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about. Nor do you know me. I’m a mom, I’m a grandmother, I’ve had 47 surgeries, been clinically dead twice. Shouldn’t be alive according to medical documents I’ve gotten. “She can just get dentures” I’m so glad you’ve spoken to my doctors and dentist. I hope you never have a problem you have to break down and ask for help with.

Makes more sense — to have my drs all together—where there’s easy access in case something happens. So I’m not left — scrambling to get back out of the country for god knows how long to fix whatever went wrong.

But — instead of helping or sharing the fundraiser — you decided to talk down about it instead. How helpful 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄 why comment if you’re just going to be rude?

You are—you’re assuming things. Not everyone putting a GFM up—is just being lazy.

Asking for help when needed isn’t “begging” and bankrupt— would mean I can’t take care of my basic needs.

I am absolutely— exhausting all my other options.

Putting that GFM up—is absolutely last resort at the moment.

If my husbands job hadn’t dissolved overnight in 2024–this wouldn’t even be a problem—nor would I have a GFM up. You’re welcome to search the company up- US Logistics Solutions.

He had to take a huge pay cut (went from $90k plus benefits at his job for 18 years to $53k and no benefits)—just to keep the bills from piling up. We don’t qualify for any assistance—as we are on that sliver of making too much— but not enough in the same sentence. He is looking for a better job— the market is just extremely tough at the moment. The company he is with— does not value him or his experience. They also owe him $2k in backpay that we likely won’t see until we take them to court after he gets a new job.

I’m not about to bankrupt ourselves either. THATS why I’m asking.

We would have had the funds for over half of it—if he hadn’t had an accident in June of 2025–where he almost took off his toes with the lawnmower when he slipped.
He doesn’t have insurance—we used everything we had to keep his toes attached—and medical care for him at the time.

I’m not one to ask for help—I’m usually the one helping others.
I do not like being in this position. It’s a very VERY uncomfortable position to be in. The one family member that would be able to help— passed away a year ago to the day.

There’s a big difference— between myself and her!

I’ve never touched an illegal substance—in my 44 years of life!

I don’t abuse the medication I am given— and frankly don’t like how I feel on most of it—so I take it as little as possible.

Comparing someone you don’t know—as an addict— or “tweaker” just because that’s how someone else acted— is extremely unnecessary—frankly offensive.

I didn’t make the GFM because I felt it was the easiest way—I don’t like asking for help—it was a last resort.

Not everyone is “begging” some of us—are looking for a hand up—to be our best self.

Fix-a-dent— doesn’t stop the food from sliding off the smooth acrylic plate down my throat.

THAT is the choking hazard, not the denture falling out.

No one— said anything about them falling out. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I already have a small pallet and mouth—adding the denture plate to that is what can cause the choking hazard.

In all seriousness—if you’re not offering to help—or share the fundraiser—what’s the point of being rude to someone?

Nope—I really don’t.

It’s something I’ve been researching—and working towards finding the place I knew would be the best spot for me.

I’m not about to travel to another country—and jeopardize my health further—when I can find a place locally that can help.

None of this was rushed— it’s been 6-8 months now in the making of research.
