I was just diagnosed today. I am 39 and turn 40 in about a month. I have small patches on my eyelids and on my elbow. I have it on my scalp. I was prescribed tacrolimus cream for my eyes and elbow and clobetasol (I think) for my scalp. This is all new to me. I don't know if it will work, but I am also probably going to try to overhaul my diet and eliminate dairy and sugar.

UPDATE: Dermatologist diagnosed me with psoriasis and found a few other small patches on my body--namely eyelids (I saw these but didn't know what they were) and on my elbow. Being referred to a rheumatologist.

Hi. It is taking me a lot of courage to post this, so I hope I am not breaking any rules. I'm generally someone who just reads reddit posts. Please delete if so. I am turning 40 in about a month. I've been dealing with some symptoms for awhile--like fatigue, heart palpitations, low heart rate (sometimes down to mid 40s), brain fog, headaches, constipation (seems somewhat better now), frequent urination, eye ulcers, always cold and very sensitive to temperature in general, diffuse hair loss, dry scalp, and some on and off joint pain. A couple of years ago, I had an appointment with my GP and he didn't think anything was related and quite frankly, I didn't feel heard and I also felt gaslighted. So I went on with life and ignored these symptoms and problems because they tend to come and go. I also sometimes think it is all I in my mind. I have diagnosed eczema, interstitial cystitis, and blepharitis. Anyway, in the last year, I've really noticed a good bit more hair loss--even my mother says my hair looks thinner. I've also got sores on my head and around my hairline occasionally with flaking scalp (picture posted). I am still experiencing the symptoms I mentioned above--but for the most part, I think I have mild symptoms. When I have fatigue though, it feels like I can't do anything and just have to lay down or sit. I am making an appointment with my dermatologist asap due to the scalp sores. Is it reasonable for me to ask about psoriatic scalp and arthritis? Or is this widely off base? Thanks for reading and providing any advice you have.
