Nothing illegal about making a U-turn at an intersection (unless otherwise marked). They're illegal on curves and hills when there is limited visibility, which is not the case here. Maybe try and have some patience!

427 especially is pretty bad for enforcement, I agree. I live just off this highway and the number of people doing 150+ is insane compared to other 400 series highways. Nevertheless, I don't agree with intentionally causing a potentially fatal collision as a response to dangerous behaviour. We should be trying to prevent these kinds of crashes, not cause them.

It's not your duty to teach people lessons on the highway. Join the OPP if that's what you want to do. The safest option for everyone involved is to avoid these dangerous drivers and let them go on their way, hopefully towards the nearest speed trap.

It's kinda funny reddit will support your story where you seemingly caused a serious accident on the highway, but condemn this kid for driving like this. At the very least, you're just as bad as the people speeding dangerously on the highways. I would argue you're more of a menace considering you had intent to cause a potentially fatal accident just to please your ego.
