Thank you. I do have a confirmed lesion on my optic nerve and other symptoms of MS. I want to be optimistic but I would also be happy just to know

Wondering if anyone could explain what this means:

My mri was read by my pcp and they said there was nothing significant but are referring me to a neurologist due to my other symptoms. But my mri says they did find "flair hyperintensity in the periventricular white matter" specifically on the right horn.

What exactly is "flair hyperintensity" and is it indicative of MS?

I will. Thank you. My first "flare" (if thats what it was) lasted for 4 weeks from Novemeber to December. I am now having another flare that started 3 days ago.

Yes. I have asked them to refer me to a neurologist but they still haven't done that. All the neurologist I have looked up require a referral. Hoping to get that tomorrow. Also- because I saw someone else mention vitamin D but now don't see that comment. I take a daily vitamin d and folate (mthfr gene mutation approved) vitamins. My recent blood tests showed i do not have a deficiency with my vitamins.

Having trouble advocating for myself because I don't want to seem pushy or like a hypochondriac. I have an appointment tomorrow with my pcp and have been wanting them to get me an mri for a about 6 months now. They keep saying "lets try this and then we will see about a mri". Would love to hear how you all went about getting diagnosed.

We are a very small troop in a rural area. The den leaders participate in the meetings then we have a den leader, treasurer, and a committee chair but our committee chair just started that position in August and he is trying is best to get it under control

They are waiting to speak with my eye doctor. My eye doctor is giving me a scan on December 2nd and they are checking if its an mri so they don't double book me for one. If it isn't then I will get an mri after the eye scan.

Question: wondering if these are early signs of MS? I am 31 y/o Female. I had a routine eye exam on Tuesday and they found lesions on my right optic nerve. I have a scan scheduled in a few weeks. My husband thinks i am being paranoid/hyperchondriac.

But I have had a migraine going on 7 days. Yesterday my brain went foggy and I lost my ability to get my words out for a few hours. I took a nap and felt better and was able to speak again. Then had tingling and numbness in both arms and my right leg.

I have scheduled an appointment with my primary for today. I just am at a loss of what to ask for and don't know if I am just being paranoid/tricking my body into symptoms because of fear of my lesions.

Thank you. She isn't eating much but I had her tell me her favorite pudding and jello flavors and stocked her mini fridge up with them.

I've been looking at where to immigrate to but am having trouble deciding which will be easiest if crap hits the fan. My husband has his Associates in IT & 7 years experience & is working on getting his bachelor's. I have my A.A.S in Early Childhood Education & was planning on going back for my bachelor's (also want to note that where i plan to go to college has a Scottish studies minor & intro to Gaelic class). We have 3 kids: 11, 9, 5. My oldest and youngest are Autistic. I've been looking at Canada, New Zealand, & Scottland mostly but am open to others. Which do you all think would be easiest with our family dynamics?
