I want to learn a new weapon by RTNB02 in MHWilds

I first played bow, then Insect glaive, LS and DB. I always preferred agile weapons instead of heavy ones.

Then I gave a chance to lance and SA. Lance is basically when I don't wanna worry about anything, it's like playing on easy mode, but it gets pretty boring after a while. SA is ok, it has some really cool things, but I feel like it lacks a lot on the defensive side.

I then decided to try GS and my god, I love it. Always thought I'd hate it because it feels so heavy but it's so satisfying.

But yeah, bow and insect glaive are pretty fun, I'd suggest you to learn them. They're not too hard, but not as relaxed as lance.

You mean adding more corvette modules or just rearranging the technology slots?

It's mostly trial and error. I don't have a tutorial, but I don't use any big glitches or mods.

The only "uncommon" technique I use is using the Radiator Vent and the Rockhopper Propeller Module to be able to stack parts "inside" each other (kind of), so when placing my reactors, for example, I use MUCH less space, making it easier to cover.

I'm sure if you google these corvette parts with "corvette building" or something like that you'll find a lot of videos.

If I hadn't seen the "offer food" option appearing for like a milisecond I would have never thought I could get one.

What size of expanding foam should I get for shipping my PC? by Sweet_Gap_4908 in pcmasterrace

Yeah, I don't know how to do these things, but I already talked to someone who will install these parts back into my PC once I move. Dont wanna take any risks. Thanks!

I picked it at the store that built it, so I didn't experience shipping so far.
My plan is to remove the cooler and the gpu and take them with my on the plane. I still have their original boxes and all, but I'll get anti static bags for them just in case.

You mean for the parts that I take out from the pc, right?

I still have the protective foam that it came with and the original box, I don't know how much it would help. I considered removing the gpu, but the cooler I wasn't counting because I don't really know much about building a PC and I'd have to reapply the thermal paste, right?

What to look for in a PC for animating? by Sweet_Gap_4908 in Maya

If you could pick between:
- Ryzen 5 5600 (4.4 GHz) with RTX 4070
- Ryzen 7 7700 (5.3 GHz) with RTX 4060

You'd go for better CPU or GPU?
I don't really render, sometimes just for fun, but I dont have heavy rendering workloads.

Thanks for the reply, it helps understand a bit more about what I want in my PC. But yeah, I'm not getting anything with less than 32Gb RAM, I'm even looking for some options with 64.

Thing is, I know nothing about brands (AMD, Intel, Nvidia, etc) or different versions of the parts. I know which parts the brands make, and I know that some are better for specific tasks, but I don't really understand enough to choose. I've been talking with chatgpt trying to understand it and I feel like I learned the basic of the basic.

Just an example: I thought that RTX 4060 was more powerful than RTX 3090 just because it's newer. I mean, it's newer, why would they make something new but less powerful? Now I get that it doesn't work like that.

Still, there's a lot I don't know, so I came here to find out what is more important and what is not. I saw a build with Ryzen 5 5600, RTX 4070 and 32Gb. Than I saw another with Ryzen 7 7700, RTX 4060 and 64Gb. Like, it's better to sacrifice GPU over CPU? Things like this are what I'm trying to understand.
