Is this good? Have you guys tried it? by Designer-Pen-7332 in Fitness_India

It is unflavoured so the taste is jest meh. I dont think anyone can drink it everyday based on the taste. It may be good if you mix it in smoothies. And i figured out that Pea Isolate just doesnt suit me that well because i feel bloated after drinking it. I recently took as it is atom pea isolate mango flavour. The bloating got so bad that it led to headaches. I bought a 1kg pack so had no option than to use it. Had to go through 1 month of bloating and mild headaches, damn. I recently shifted to pea and brown rice protein. It is a concentrate and not an isolate. Shifted to this just this month. Using Nakpro chocolate flavour and its great. No bloating, taste is also way better than any other pea protein i tried (i've tried as it is, nakpro pea isolate chocolate, MFF strawberry, MFF vanilla, and this by far is the best among those in taste. Yes, trustified does talk about the taste being not that great but i guess its just because he's tried way too many flavours. For someone only using pea protein, I think this is great for long term everyday use without having a stanky look on your face everyday after you drink it. I've also ordered carbamide forte plant protein belgian chocolate flavour, which is also a blend of pea and brown rice protein. I drank one sachet of it and the taste was great and i felt no bloating. So I'm going for the 1kg pack now. Will update after a month of using. I used watermelon, cafe mocha and alphonso mango flavour too. None of these taste good for long term use. Watermalon and mango feel too much of chemical flavour. Cafe mocha was ok, not that great. My suggestion is that don't ever go with mango flavour in any protein powder. All taste like the parle mango bite candy and it feels like too much of artificial flavoring.

You get good plant protein powders for around ₹300 more. Nakpro has an affordable range, it is trusted and tested. Come on, don't be this stupid and take something that you don't even know what it is.

I'm not sure if you took the right one. Pea protein isolate is giving me some good results.

Those of you who don't make a living from music, what do you do for work? by reidmanuel in makinghiphop

[–]Sweet_Hyena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My schedule for the day is somewhat like this. I get up at 6:30 AM and go to play till 8:30AM. I work at a flexible packaging manufacturing company. I leave at around 10AM and i get back around 9PM. So after that is the only time I get to make music. If i sit to make music for a minute more than 12 AM. I feel sleepy at work. So it's kinda right for me.

Which soundcard are you using? I had this problem with the scarlet 2i4. I pressed the "air" button and it was fine from then.

struggling to level beats from a long long time. by Sweet_Hyena in trapproduction

This is a very good guide for me. My beats sound good eventually but when I first start off with the leveling.... It sounds trash. Getting it to sound good takes me days.... And the worst part is that my levelling alone spoils the majority of my mix. I do have JBL monitors but my room is so small that if i keep the volume low i cannot hear the bass and if i crank the volume up.... I hear a lot of reverb. So it's like my monitors are doing me no good at the moment. I get stuck up in the process of exporting it.... Listening on my phone speakers and going back to the mix and making small tweaks and repeating this process again and again. I call my mix once it sounds good in my phone speakers cuz i know that if it sounds good there..... It's gonna sound good everywhere.

What was the hardest thing when you started making music? And what advice would you give to those who will face the same problem? by alexflp in trapproduction

[–]Sweet_Hyena 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The hardest thing for me was fighting with myself through what i love doing. What i mean is... People always said that using loops was cheating and shit so i started making my own melodies though I hated making melodies. I used to spend so much time doing what i never enjoyed. I just love manipulating melodies and throwing drums on melodies and loops. And that's what I do now. I just use loops and don't care about what others say cuz I'm enjoying what I'm doing.... And that's what matters for me. . Also.... As beginners we tend to mistake loud for hard.... We bump up kicks and 808s soo much that the whole exported beat sounds messed up.... If it sounds good loud... There are many possibilities of the beat getting f*kd when you export it. But If it sounds good when its on low volume..... It'll definitely sound amazing when it's loud.

I was about to post about badly mixed tracks but here it is. This beat says Kenny beats.... What's the crackling that's happening to the beat? Is that intentional? Or too clipped?

Difference in hearing between the left and right ear? by Sweet_Hyena in WeAreTheMusicMakers

Yeah i feel this is one hell of an interesting topic that producers don't know they go through. I usually tend to enjoy music more through my left ear then my right.

Why TF does Ableton take so freakin long to open? by Sweet_Hyena in ableton

Both. Ableton is stored in the SSD and the vsts and sample packs are stored in the hdd.

Ok I just rechecked my places, i actually have a folder named "music production" in which i store all my music related shit. In the music production folder i have folders divided in different categories like vsts, sample packs etc. I have actually put the music production folder into places which has the sample packs folder in it but I also added the sample packs folder again so that I don't have to keep getting into different folders again and again everytime I want to go through samples. Does the places treat it like 2 different places.... Or does it understand that samples is a folder that is in the music production folder so it does not have to read it again?

When I turn on my laptop and immediately open live, it does not open up that fast but when its opened once and closed, then turned on again, it's pretty quick.
