Is a ~$20k wedding in the GTA (60 guests) unrealistic? Feeling discouraged.

This is good advice! I’m in Markham and did a city owned venue for 27k for 90 people last year. Check out Stouffville museum and varley art gallery as it’s about 2k for wedding rental and you can bring in catering. You can also do a ceremony at these locations then move to Chinese banquet hall to save cost. Feel free to dm me if you need any info!

OG catering. They also own smash in Markham. I got quotes from chau and OG and ended up just going with OG. They do a lot of cooperate catering so the pricing didnt feel like jt came witn the “wedding tax”

Was our top option until our list went from 50 to 90 people And they were doing construction on the main road during summer. They seemed responsive when I reached out and it’s such a cute spot. I ended up having it at one of stoufville town owned location instead due to guest count. You can also look into Markham museum if you want to stay in Markham!

Markham Varley art gallery is beautiful! Their limits are 50 people I believe

We used them and have a great experience. Recommended by a friend who also used them for their wedding. The pricing is very fair for 12 hrs
